1986 DREADNOK GROUND ASSAULT set. Motorcycle and 4WD Vehicle.

Original Price was $12.99 in the 1986
Sears Wishbook catalog.

A rare set that features the STINGER and RAM motorcycle repainted to match the SWAMPFIRE look. The plastic used actually changed colors in the heat and cold, same as the color changing ZARTAN figure!

Another interesting note is that the RAM side cannon has three variations, all blue, all light green, and then a version that was blue with the tip of the cannon being light green. Pretty rare set in any of these variants.

1990 G.I. JOE Video Game by Taxan for the Nintendo system. Not the first Joe video game but probably the most successful one. It features Snake-Eyes, Duke, Roadblock, Blizzard, the worst Joe of them all - Captain Grid-Iron and General Hawk in the last stages.

Cobra Troopers are ever present with the enemy bosses being a Range-Viper, Metal-Head, Overlord, Voltar, Destro and finally Cobra Commander himself.

Loving this retro UK ACTION FORCE artwork! The early days of the Real American Hero G.I. Joe were very much about “modern military” but had the look of olive green soldiers in a more traditional style. And this picture captures the feelings of that original era in an action packed scene. Plus it shows how universal G.I. Joe was, fitting for International Heros just as well as Real American Heros.

On his last @youtube Livestream (6/6), @its.chad_official showed off the stuff he bought at The DFW GI JOE & TOY SHOW. Here’s a quick capture of Chad showing a print he picked up from my collaborator and lifelong friend @johnearlart! It’s an homage piece to George Perez’s “Death of Supergirl” cover from Crisis on Infinite Earths issue 7 (1985), reworked as a tragic “Death of the Baroness” stunner.

Chad said, “Got this from John Earl - Great Friend, Fantastic artist, he signed it. ‘Cause you know, the man loves The Baroness”.

Very cool to see and hear all the shoutouts to GI JOE fans who put their heart and soul into keeping G.I. Joe alive. The passion shows in all the creations, from toys and vehicles to beautiful artwork like this one!

Released in 1993 by Tiger Electronics, the G.I. Joe: Star Brigade handheld LCD game lets players take control of the sci-fi sub-team as they battle hostile aliens and Cobra forces in outer space. You play as DUKE, battling to defeat COBRA’S Space Forces on the Moon along with DESTRO. As the Joe’s STAR BRIGADE Leader, you can call in help from HEAVY DUTY, ROCK N ROLL, GENERAL HAWK and the ARMOR-BOT.

The game features single-screen LCD gameplay with classic beeping sound effects, requiring players to dodge hazards and blast enemy ships. The game is a highly sought-after piece of 90s nostalgia, released late near the final run of the original RAH series. While loose, tested copies generally range from $50 to $100 on the secondary market, pristine or factory-sealed versions have fetched anywhere from $600 to $2,000.
