I’m happy to announce my DEBUT album, “UBUNTU” is set to release July 11th, 2025 🎺

I’ve always believed that music is more than entertainment. It’s conversation. It’s resistance. It’s healing. It’s community. That’s why I created this album — Ubuntu — as a declaration of everything I’ve lived, learned, and witnessed through sound.

“I am because we are.” is the meaning of Ubuntu — an African philosophy rooted in interconnectedness. In every note of this album, I honor the people, places, and things that have shaped me. From city to city, state to state, jam sessions to world stages, and classrooms to corner conversations, my journey as a trumpeter, bandleader, and Black artist has always been about more than music. It’s about presence, purpose, and perspicacity.

This album was intentionally built and rooted in community and love for one another — with musicians who poured their hearts and spirit into each track, mentors and loved ones who supported my growth, and listeners like you who keep art alive.

This isn’t just my album — it’s a mirror representing our shared history and collective future.

Ubuntu is a sonic archive of joy, pain, protest, and celebration. It’s a call to remember where we come from and imagine where we can go together. Every track holds its own truth that creates an all encompassing unified truth, just as each one of us represents our own truth unifying together as a community. Every improvisation holds and speaks of freedom. Every bit of silence between notes carries intention.

💿 Exclusive LIMITED EDITION CD’s are now available on my website at WWW.DANIELHARRISiii.COM 🔗
