POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

When I unexpectedly had to leave my dream job as a firefighter, I hit one of the lowest points in my life and struggled to find my direction again.

Out of nowhere, I picked up a pencil and started drawing — something I had never really done before. Without realising it at the time, it became a way for me to deal with my mental health and everything I was going through.

Most of the drawings turned into playful character illustrations, and in a strange way it felt like reconnecting with my inner child — a part of me I didn’t even realise I had lost.

These pieces were created during some of the hardest days of my life, but art slowly brought colour back into it. It gave me purpose, inspiration, and the strength to keep moving forward. Enjoy ! by @knscious.arts
