@nathanmacmusic takes on a darker edge to his music in his newest single, 'Dead Don't Answer,' which comes out on September 3rd. ✨

This song is about facing loss and grieving someone you wish you didn't have to. Some calls, letters, and cries go unanswered in the most heartbreaking ways. Nathan Mac explores this in 'Dead Don't Answer'.

If you love shoegaze, then you’ll be happy to learn that Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, just gave us the new shoegaze band that we all need to tune into!

The newcomers @swaantx recently released their debut single, “Whirlpull”, which lets listeners into their world, while also paying tribute to their late drummer, Issac Goldsmith.

Check out the full review of “Whirlpull”, the debut single by Swaan, via the link in our bio and stories! 🔗👩‍💻

Sometimes I can achieve some pretty dope pastels, but only every 3 years or so.

So, who's ready to eat leaves in excitement and start a Midwest emo band now that it's October and feels like a necessity to scream sad songs at people with titles that don't match the vibe or lyrics at all 🤣🤷 by @knuckleheadedasf

September has been a month of releases from the release of the 'ET CETERA' EP for Crash Through The Floor and the waterfall EP release for 'P*nk Skies at Night' by Nathan Mac it's been a busy month! July was the last one anything like this with a lineup for releases.

But October is show heavy with multiple Crash Through The Floor shows and a show on the Bronson Arm tour that I'll have to make sure to be at.

Here's to the next month and the roller coasters it will also bring! Sorry to all my friends that rarely hear from me. 😅

It's Bandcamp Friday again! Here are some of my personal suggestions for artists to check out and support on this fine Bandcamp Friday!

* - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *

My suggestions!
Please consider supporting them and all your personal favorites too!

1. @paletorch
2. @cliffhangerpoppunk
3. @awfulprophet_tn
4. @blackhat.tx
5. @crashthroughthefloor
6. @fervenceband

Why does your support matter?
A large percentage of artists’ revenue comes from shows, merch, and physical distribution. Especially for the alternative and heavy genres. Buying CDs, vinyls, cassettes, and even downloads of their music allows them to make more money than most streaming platforms will give them, and you get a copy of their music that can be played without the need for Wi-Fi, with sound coming only from physical media.

Why Bandcamp?
Bandcamp allows artists to keep ~85% of digital sales and 90% of merch sales through their platform. It allows fans to pay above the asking price, and a lot of fans do!
And Bandcamp Fridays pass everything essentially to artists.

Make sure you support your favorite artists today! by @knuckleheadedasf

🎶 It's Band Camp Friday! 🎶

Supporting the music you love is important, and one of the best ways to do that isn't just to stream their music, but to buy it!

Here are some of the bands and artists I suggest checking out today on Bandcamp: @crashthroughthefloor @sleeptalkerband @toplineaddicts @thecrookedstuff @massfearband and @bikeroutesnj 🔥🤘

With @bandcamp you can support them by buying individual songs, EPs, and full album downloads, as well as physical copies and even merch. The best part? Bandcamp takes less from bands to host their merch and physical options and distribute their digital downloads, giving artists more of the money they make from their own work. ✨ As it should be. ✨

Tune in next week for more great artists to support on Bandcamp Friday! by @knuckleheadedasf
