We just wrapped a happy two weeks at @theatreforanewa in their newly revived Actors and Directors Shakespeare Project. It was a treat to be invited to play with this brilliant cohort, under the leadership of Andrew Wade, and get paid to learn! by @knudadams

Tickets for The Unbelievers are now for sale! Don’t neglect the onstage seating option, which is very real and neither performative nor too exposing. Paul Steinberg is transforming City Center Stage I as I’ve never seen it, and MTC is making it happen! by @knudadams

This winter, I’ll be delighted to help christen the first season at @huronstationplayhouse with Annie Baker’s Circle Mirror Transformation.

This was one of the very first plays I saw in New York, and encountering Annie’s work changed the trajectory of my art. We’re so thrilled to finally bring it to L.A. in a new and perhaps surprising production. by @knudadams

The official artwork for The Unbelievers is now live!

We commissioned @thomas_ehretsmann to create digital illustrations for Primary Trust, and now for The Unbelievers we get to use his original painting -- acrylic on gessoed paper mounted on aluminium panel.

I was once told by a big institution that I couldn't have an illustrated poster, because then "How would the audience know it's a play?" I'm so grateful to see industry practices expand towards the artful.

And with so much A.I. slop floating around, hand to paper is so chic! by @knudadams

Updating the portfolio, I’m so pleased to finally include these COLD WAR CHOIR PRACTICE shots by @photo_by_baranova.

They bring to mind the review that said I “picked up the torch of David Lynch like no other stage director before him. With the same deadpan creepiness lurking just under the wood-panel normalcy of life in America, Adams brings Ro Reddick’s exhilarating “Cold War Choir Practice” to perverse life.”

From last summer, Cold War Choir Practice was already a Critics Pick. Now Helen Shaw lists it as one of the “10 Most Mind-Altering Theater Moments of 2026 (So Far).”
