Another one i didin't see coming. Snowboarding surely takes me to weird places. I'm guessing this is a high school textbook, chapter about civil activism in the climate battle. Stoked to see these issues dresses in school books nowadays 🌚

I'm super upset, read the English story below. Meni huolella tunteisiin, kun nimeäni ja sanomisiani käytettiin yritysten viherpesuun 🤯
@kulttuurikeskustahto (ent. Urheilumuseo):ssa avattiin Menneen talven lumia - näyttely, jonka teemoina ovat ympäristö, kestävä kehitys ja ilmastonmuutos. Tärkeitä aiheita. Harmi, että näyttelyn ovat rahoittaneet mm. öljy-yhtiö @st1suomi , @metsahallitus_forststyrelsen ja @luhta_official jotka kaikki omassa toiminnassaan toimivat äärettömän vastuuttomasti (kts. kommentit tarkemmasta kuvauksesta). Sen sijaan, että he oikeasti veisivät omaa toimintaansa kestävään suuntaan, he pyrkivät kiillottamaan imagoaan tämän tyyppisellä viherpesulla. Vähän sama, kuin tupakkayritys sponsoroisi syöpäsäätiön tapahtumaa. Ei vaan ole ok. Näyttelyn seinälle oltiin MINULTA KYSYMÄTTÄ laitettu lainauksia multa (en tiedä mistä ne on otettu) ja irrotettu ne kontekstistaan, jolloin sanoma vääristyi. Tekstin alle oltiin laitettu nimeni, ihan kuin olisin antanut luvan sen käyttöön. En todellakaan halua olla osana tällaista viherpesua. Korpeaa huolella tämmönen toiminta.
Sittemmin Urheilumuseo on pyynnöstä luvannut poistaa tekstit. Haluan nostaa tällaisia epäkohtia esille, isoilla yrityksillä on aivan uskomaton valta meidän kapitalistisessa maailmassa ja ne varmasti jatkavat ympäristön ja ihmisoikeuksien riistämistä niin kauan kun me annamme sen tapahtua. Osaltani kannustan kaikkia olemaan tukematta yrityksiä, joiden ympäristö-, ilmasto- ja ihmis- sekä eläinoikeus asiat eivät ole kunnossa.

So they opened an exhibition at the Finnish national sport museum about climate change. Super important topic but the whole show was paid by a fossil fuel company and other really irresponsible companies. For some reason they used my name and quoted me WITHOUT MY PERMISSION in their exhibition. I'm super upset to be used like this in this brutal green washing. The national news made a story about it. Hoping to make a difference and raising some thoughts on how big companies are taking control and ruining the environment and the climate. They keep doing it as long as we let them. Let's not support this kind of capitalism. by @knudsensiv

It brings me joy & ease that i can go to bed every night knowing that i tried to make a difference in this world. That i tried to make better choices for the environment when i could. That because of me no animal had to suffer. That i do realise my actions have consequences what it comes to human rights and effects to the nature.

I'm not perfect, no one is nor have to be but i do believe that if everyone would make more conscious choices, together we could make a huge difference in this world.

Making conscious choices fills my heart in a way that no amount of money, social media followers or products ever could 🩶

Season starters! Not sure if the rails are getting bigger or is it me getting older every year 😅 Gratefull for the tube line to tune in again, feels amazaing and super scary at the same time 🤍

After some years of being too scared to try a front slappy on this one, i finally did it.

Took a train to Copenhagen and two years later i got the edit done 🙃
That last spot was such a big one for me: it was the first spot i had to make work by my own, it was so scary and yet so rewarding to get the clip. Would be so interesting to go back now after few more years on the board and see what i could do there now..!
