When you have no special abilities, mediocre talents, average in the brain department, all you're left with us just — staying alive. Didn't realise I was actually this salty, probably angry and extremely pissed with how my life played out due to my own actions and inactions as well as the consequences of them. Had my life planned out, school, work, transition into fulltime, move out and rent a place, do side gigs and live a regular life like we see in fiction... Until it was not. Until we realise reality is terrible, reality means you have rules, laws, everything requires money, effort and sometimes effort alone can't even get you there, talent without luck is just a sparkly piece of paper in the trash. There's literally nothing worth living for, but that also means there's nothing worth dying for. Honestly, living authentically really should just mean "you're allowed to be pissed about things and use any means possible to fix it, even if it means ripping them off" AND I REALLY DO WANT TO. I want to crash out, to throw hands to slap a bi- But in all honesty, I just want to live. I just want to find a reason, a point, just something to justify my existence. Evidence to prove that I lived, that I was there, that I was alive. Then again I've been fighting myself for so so long, considered ending it all but never really doing it, not because I was scared, but "was it worth it?" If I contemplated it just means I'm not ready to let go, but what exactly am I even holding on for??? GAHHHH IM LEGIT ANGERY😭 #pov #meaningoflife #existentialcrisis by @koala.w.tea
POV: you hosted a EGL/ Tea party in Singapore🍁 With this reel, I shall conclude our tea party, La Crimson Canopy. Thank you everyone for attending and trusting us with an afternoon of tea, treats and grace.♥️ This marks the first step into building a communitea (sorry I had to, my username is already a pun in itself) where we can take time off and exist in a whimsical wonderland.♥️ It was a pleasure hosting our first party at @bloomboomsg (not sponsored)! Thank you for the beautiful venue, delicious treats, and friendly staff. Do check them out for your next cafe hunt! I would also like to thank @ruffiex for co-hosting and supporting me through this journey of realizing this dream. A special mention for @canvasofpeace for assisting us on our pre-event photoshoot and on-site support! The party doesn’t have to end here, though. If you captured any moments from the event, please do share your posts using #KoalaTeaPartea so we can see all your beautiful memories and keep this communitea (sorry) growing! May our next encounter be shared over a warm sip🫖 #sgcafe #sgreels #eglcommunity by @koala.w.tea
No one talks about it because it's the same for everyone, you work to earn the monie to play, then you go back to work once your leave has ended, then the vicious cycle continues😔💔(and honestly I'm not paid enough for my work here lmao) There's honestly so much I can talk about on this topic(or just my own thoughts towards this vicious cycle) but that would require an essay 🤣🤣🤣 #cosplay #trend #realitycheck by @koala.w.tea
Shout-out to all the venues we hosted at!! @bloomboomsg @vicbakery_sg @enchantedcafe Where shall we head to next👀 Alot of changes have happened since tea party 1 — La Crimson Canopy — we've listened to the feedbacks, evolved and Whimsy Atealier tea parties(I need a better name) are slowly starting to take its shape, it's like we're creating something together, Thank you to every single person who supported us since the very beginning 💌 So what really changed? What stayed? And what is coming up? We've changed our program and what it means to be a curated event, from the moment you step into our event space, we greet you at the door, there are no outsiders (apart from staff,, okay, sometimes we do get general public coming in, but they are ushered out by the staff, we always book the full venue to host privately ok) , we have 1 social activity, curated menu, free flow tea service and of course, a personal handwritten letter and a bunch of merch too! (Sorry I love sharing my art 😭😭😭) We also extended our 2hrs to 3hours! It's definitely a better timeframe, and when space allows it, a fashion showcase!! What stayed? Our signature activity! The Sealed Atealier, a sealed written letter just for you💌 and the free flow tea service as well as the hosts mingling around throughout the event❤️ What's coming up? Well, our 12.12 lunch session is coming up, the full details are in another video! Quickly scroll over there and find it!! While you're looking, drop us a follow too👀 Maybe you'll get your letter one day💌 #whimsyatealier #teaparty #fashion by @koala.w.tea
As you've likely known by now, the last tea party held on 25 October 2026, was out last Whimsy Atealier tea party of 2026, and the upcoming 12.12 lunch gathering would mark our first Whimsy Lunch session(get it, because we can dress up and go for lunch, it's a work in progress). So what are the plans for next year? Are we just gonna stop and poof into non existence? Not quite! Our plans for 2027 is quite simple, while we're still operating as a 2man team and tea parties still take alot of time and effort to plan, alongside life itself, we'll be introducing 2 new event types in 2027! 1. Whimsy Atealier tea parties — these are the usual tea parties, we've heard your feedback and we understand it's on the higher end of budget as everything is tailored specifically, this we'll only be hosting them every 3-4 months. 2. Atealier session — a workshop tea party! As you may know, I'm a cosplayer, artist, and very handsy. I have basic tailoring, wig making, makeup, illustrations and a whole bunch of DIY capabilities, from papercrafts to digital prints and merchmaking. So I want to share it with you all, as these are essential skills in fashion! Especially in J-fashion(as most of you seem to gear towards) So we'll be hosting some workshop sessions in-between tea parties! They'll likely be hosted in function/party rooms as those places allow for more time and space! This event type will also include "budget" tea parties, hence the name "workshop" as they're meant to be on the lower budget but still following a rough tea party format! 3. Whimsy Lunch Session — a lunch session with Whimsy Atealier's creative team! This is what we'll be starting from 12.12 of this year! Where we can dress up, come together for lunch and enjoy the company! A space where conversations are made without my hosting duties! So we can chat more with you all😭💖 and maybe share of some whimsy secrets👀 and behind the scenes- likely to be held alongside Atealier sessions, in-between tea parties! *Ahem* That's our rough plans for 2027! We just want to share Whimsy Atealier with more people and pickup essential handiwork/craft skills along the way! Chatgpt can't help you fix a loose by @koala.w.tea

POV: you hosted a fashion-focused tea party💌 While we do see a majority of EGL coords, we're mainly focused on simply giving you an excuse to dress up while enjoying tea and a curated experience! Of course, a written letter to end the session with, as our main goal is to step away from the fast paced environments and AI usage. Our activities are very hands on to promote this too^^ Nothing works better than a mini competition for socializing 👻 Big thank you once again to @enchantedcafe for allowing us to host our party in their thematically designed cafe! Do wander into their cafe if you need a quiet space to exist in for an afternoon! They open from 10am-2am daily! Located just a street away from Farrer Park mrt! For directions you can check out my previous how to get there guide or just hop onto their page 🤝🏻 **Not sponsored but I wanted to give them a shout-out as their venue and food are great for a quiet afternoon* #whimsyatealier #teaparty by @koala.w.tea

[25.10.26] Treat 'n' Meet 👻 Thank you everyone for attending our Halloween edition Tea Party! We wouldn't have been able to host one without you(literally). Of course, a huge shout-out and thank you to @enchantedcafe for allowing us to host in your cozy venue! And the wonderful bgm we had today from @ngiam_ 🎼 As we conclude this tea party, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you for your support this year, from our very first tea party, all the way to this one. We've had a lot of ups, downs and major uncertainties, and I'm sure we will encounter even more moving forward. But as your host and organizer, I'm really glad I get to do Whimsy Atealier with you! Thank you for the wonderful tea parties this year and cheers for more exciting news next year! (Who knows, maybe we'll get a sponsor-) Our last tea party of the year may be over, but we're not done yet! Keep your 12.12(Saturday) free, as we'll be hosting a lunch session! Details are arriving soon (I've been teasing this for so long I'm sorry) 👻 #whimsyatealier #teaparty #fashion by @koala.w.tea
So how do we even get to the party venue tomorrow???? Here's a (badly made) guide video by yours truly 🤝🏻 Step 1: Go to Farrer Park MRT (Purple line, before little India) Step 2: Exit from exitB Step 3: cross the street — Tessenohn Rd Step 4: walk straight until you see the gold cage! Your letter is awaiting your arrival💌 #whimsyatealier #teaparty by @koala.w.tea
Why do I wear gloves for every tea party? They're not disposable plastic gloves for food handling since I'm not handling the food anyways😅 Gloves are an important part of etiquette as a host, especially in luxury settings such as hotels or luxury experiences. While I do intend to brand our tea parties a luxury experience, we're in truth, still learning how to better elevate the experience! But it doesn't mean we have 0 hospitality experience 😤 While gloves are mainly for show (and hygiene too!) nowadays, you don't exactly wear them other than for fashion, but as a host, I still want to show respect for my guests! Wearing gloves while handling the door gifts protect the gifts from my hands, who knows what I'm touching while setting up—even if I wash my hands after! It's a small thing that I like to do as part of my dress code ☺️ Also did you know, you're not supposed to wear gloves while dinjng at the table? Firstly it's gonna get dirty and secondly, it could introduce germs to the food 😔 since they're not meant for food handling!! Do you have a small item/accessory that you MUST have as part of your own dress code?🤔 #hospitality #whimsyatealier #ettique by @koala.w.tea
