Let's address the elephant in the room.
The documentary below is a true-life story which every Christian must watch.
This touched on spiritual abuse, wolves in sheep clothing and above all, us not being our brother's keeper.

I do not support the pastor, but if a member had challenged his preaching, here would have been a different story today. The pastor's preaching would have been God- centred.
As christians, we have the responsibility to be each other’s keeper.
Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and not the tell-tale of men.
Don't be deceived.

Whosoever turn their eyes away from abuse to others is also responsible for the abuse.

In this situation, the church members are culprits due to their loyalty to evil.

Watch out for the sake of your daughters and sons. Be your brother's keeper. by @kobampraise22

Many parents grew up in dysfunction, yet they continued the pattern with their children. Dare to be different. It is never too late to break the pattern of dysfunctionality. The best day and time to do this is "now."

How do you do this?
Identify and acknowledge the dysfunction.
Pray and seek help from God and man.
Wisdom is profitable to direct.
