Conversations Black Men Should Be Having | GTKM EP. 4

Me, @kodeezy_ and @bennyb_shot_it met up at Kinfolx for a meeting. Prior to talking about what we came to meet for we discussed grief, our fathers, healing, and mending the relationship before it’s too late. Typically these aren’t convos that Black Men or Men have when they get together. I’ve made it a point to not continue that trend and narrative and be authentic and vulnerable around my brothers. This can be a form of therapy and you never know what your brother/friend is going through if all you guys do is talk about women, sports and money. So here’s a look into that convo.

Last slide I had to hold my composure cause a random lady asked to move my camera while moving it already. NASTY WORK 🤣. I can laugh about it now but you see my face lol IYKYK

Black Joy x Crown

In every shade of melanin lives a life and tells a story. In every stride, a story of survival turned into strength. This current state of the world can make you feel like your pigment is a crime and you can lose hope but we never do. We just find a way to be present and enjoy life around the people who love us. Black Joy Parade is one of those places and events for the Bay Area. Oakland is a revolutionary city and filled with resilience and love. That’s what we wanted to display, show the beauty in the details of melanin. To let our people see that your joy is one of the strongest weapons you have, no matter the opposition. We are the dream and the proof. The rhythm and the revolution. Black beauty is sacred, Black excellence is eternal! Happy Black History Year!!

10th Annual Holiday Heart Toy Drive ❤️🎅🏽

This means the world to us! Seeing all the families smiling and happy at the toy drive keeps us inspired to give back more and more. We had the blessing of providing gifts to over 50+ families !!!!!!!! We ate, we danced, and we gave out toys! 🎁✨

The feedback and the conversations Ari and I have with parents and guardians would truly make you cry. So many families are deeply grateful for what we do, and we’re honored to continue showing up for our community.
