want to know why I think we have adults who can’t leave work at work?

We know no other way.

Since we were teenagers we went to school for 8 hours and then were subconsciously told “that’s not enough, here’s 3 more hours of work” a subtle reminder that more is better. go go go.

I’m not talking you didn’t get your work done and need to finish. I’m talking hours upon hours of extra homework. Rigor for some reason looks like just more.

6 weeks in and my oldest realized she was missing family time, missing her brothers games, spending her weekends studying for the next week, she couldn’t catch her breath.

And as I started talking to other moms she’s not alone.

So we prayed about it and followed where the Lord led us. And for now that’s homeschool.

We aren’t sure what the future holds but we know who holds it. So for now, so long FHS. by @kody.m.shepherd

Life update 🤍 got sick (this head cold is no joke) and accidentally took a 3 week social break.

So here’s what we’ve been up to

🏈 my middle started football (and I honestly am shocked how much I love it!)
🤍 both bigs are headed to homecoming
🕊️ well Park is headed to dove hunting but we couldn’t not get his gf a mum - got to love Texas ❤️
⚾️ my middle got his first GRAND SLAM 💪
🏊🏻‍♀️ the pool is almost done!!!!
