Sometimes film has other plans.

Film reminds us as photographers that regardless of the composition, lighting, and whatever else you might have, the photo will turn out how it wants to turn out.

These are the final frames from a roll I shot on my old SLR Pentax — the end of the reel hit with light, fogged, and flaring into chaos. Idk how it happened, but that’s part of the magic I guess.

A little reminder that imperfections are beautiful.

The Great Wall Of China - 2023
5/7 Wonders Of The World ✅

Could not be more thankful for the experience to hike/see this in person and the people who helped me do it.

4th slide:
王令仪(middle) and 王良(right) who scooped me up in a metro station and showed me how to make my way to the base of the wall, bought me an umbrella after it started to rain, and took an hour long bus out of their way to see that I got home safe.
