One night, a thousand memories!!!
Grand, expressive and completely unhindered in the presence of God. Atmosphere was warm and electric, the energy felt raw and real, every sound carried a joy that touched every heart. Each melody and rhythm reminded us again of God’s goodness.

Every single moment felt charged with purpose!🎷⚡️
Gratitude is the mood for the rest of the year. The tone has been set, and we will continue threading the Gazette with joy and intention.

Ogbomosho was absolutely amazing. I am still in the full euphoria of Thanksgiving. Last weekend was a celebration of pure joy. The atmosphere was intense with praise and overwhelming gratitude. We felt God so tangibly. His presence was thick with unending joy and happiness. It was truly an honour to gather with such beautiful people and lift up our voices together in thanksgiving.

Thank you for hosting us with such love. Thank you for your energy. Thank you for your open hearts.

Another year leans into the horizon
and I find myself asking the familiar questions
Was I enough
Did my hands give all they could
or did I drift like a leaf in an endless stream
unseen and untouched by meaning

Memories return soft as lullabies
yet some carry thorns
They dance before me, some I embrace
others I release with trembling palms
I smile, I ache, I wonder still
Will the next dawn bring courage enough
to hold my dreams without flinching

I am growing slowly, unevenly, yet truly
Not shedding myself for a stranger’s skin
but becoming more of who I already am
Perhaps that is the secret of time
not in perfect strides
but in honest tries

I have worn my doubts like a shawl
across too many seasons
yet still I rise
Still I breathe
Still I begin again

Every scar is a scripture carved in my flesh
every fall a sermon whispered to my bones
Some days I faltered
but I have stood firm
when life thundered in my ears

I have tasted joy in small golden sips
I have sat in the silence of my own sorrow
I have walked through rain
not to escape it
but to understand its song

The clock turns
so do I
Not chasing flawless days
only truth
Why am I here
What have I become
How do I silence the shadows
that tell me I am not enough

Maybe growth is not a roar
but a quiet bow to the moment
choosing peace over chaos
trust over fear

As the year’s curtain falls

Àkìí wo ariwo ọjà; ẹni tí a bá ń ra ọjà l’á ń wò.

If this past year has taught me one resounding lesson, it is the power of FOCUS. In the midst of chaos and challenges, I discovered the importance of channeling my energy toward what truly matters. Along the way, I also learned resilience, determination, discipline, courage, the strength to endure painful pruning, the ability to grow from loss, and the patience to trust the process, no matter how uncertain it seemed.

Life does not always unfold the way we envision. The concept of timing is often beyond our control, and this year was a testament to that. It was a rollercoaster! a journey filled with highs and lows. I failed and succeeded. I lost and won. I cried and laughed. I faced rejection and acceptance. I stumbled over hurdles but also soared over them.

In all of this, I realized the necessity of fierce focus; a steadfast commitment to your goals even when distractions, trials, and tribulations surround you. I learned to drown out frivolous emotions and channel pain into progress. I discovered that survival is not the same as success, but that both require relentless movement; whether running, walking, crawling, or even taking the smallest steps forward.

I confronted my fears head-on, embraced optimism, and replaced “What if” with “Even if.” This year shaped me in ways I never imagined, teaching me that growth often comes through discomfort and perseverance. I also learned the most vital truth: “Don’t do this life without God.” His faithfulness has carried me through every trial and triumph. I’m grateful for His presence, for family, friends, and the gift of life itself.

As I reflect on 2024 and its lessons, I step into 2025 with optimism and determination. It’s another opportunity to soar, to embrace growth, and to transform every challenge into a stepping stone toward greatness. I am ready to spread my wings and fly.

Here’s to a year of greater exploits and brighter opportunities!
