RIVER MONSTER ALERT!🚨

Hours of chucking big flies, and one mistake from a 45” musky creates memories that’ll last forever!

Complements to the @nrsfishing raft for getting us around and the @orvisflyfishing Helios 11wt for putting this fish in the net….this one will not be forgotten! Stoked to be with Grant for this one!

85 After 8 Years

Crazy how a seemingly small decision like whether or not you go to Band Camp in middle school can be what sets your whole life in motion.
Thousands of hours of practice, rehearsal, travel and performances later I want to thank everyone who was a part of this chapter of my life.

This week, on River Monsters

I have been chasing a trophy sturgeon for a few years now and have gotten the chance to fish for big whites while at school. It has been an uphill battle waking up hours before sunrise, driving hours to the spot and battling the cold, rain and snow just to catch nothing or a couple of little ones. I kept coming back though because every time I tried I learned a new piece of the puzzle.

Today I finally got the fish I have been hunting coming in around 7 feet long with a 25 minute fight.

The best part is that it swam off as strong as when I hooked into it by @kokalgrant
