3 things my PMU training taught me that completely changed the way I look at tattooing

There is SO much more that goes into permanent makeup than choosing a pretty pigment and putting it into the skin.

Understanding skin, undertones, pigment theory, technique, pressure and how all of those things work together can make such a difference in how your work heals and ages.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that PMU is never one-size-fits-all. Every client sitting in my chair is different, and learning how to adjust my approach to their skin is just as important as the technique itself.

And above everything else… consistency, consistency, consistency.

I’m still learning every single time I pick up my machine, but looking back at how much I’ve learned already makes me so excited to keep growing. Thank you always for your trust 🤍
