Y’all… it’s gone…the whole pie…it was that good!! Let me just tell you how easy this is to make! I was craving my fave Key Lime Pie from Florida but shipping costs are crazy so I headed for the kitchen to see what I could make! Here’s the recipe:
Crust: 1 Sleeve Graham Crackers, 5 tbs butter & 1/4 cup sugar- just blend it up and press into a pan, no need to bake!
Filling: 8 ounces whipped cream cheese, 1 can @eaglebrandmilk Sweetened condensed milk, zest of 3 limes, juice of 8 limes (they don’t have to be key limes) whip it all up until blended. Whipped Cream: 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, 1/3 cup powdered sugar & 1 tbs vanilla extract. Layer it up and top with some extra crumbled graham crackers and lime zest! Save this so you’ll have the recipe! Let me know if you try it and what you think! #keylimepie #quickdessert #pie #familyfriendlydesserts #mooresvillemoms #sliceofpie #homemade #homemadedessert #sweettreat #summerdessert by @kokosshoppe

1st Sunday of the year and it was so good to be in Gods house! @pennymaxwell delivered a message that needed to be heard @freedomhouselkn When I step into the church, I feel lighter. I am covered with Gods presence and goodness. So often I doubt what God can or can’t do. I put limits on Him. I sit with my anxiety, the heaviness and fears of all the things that could go wrong. I worry about my marriage. I get frustrated with my failures. I feel shame & guilt of myself as a mother and wife. But who better to release that to, than the One who created me. The only One who can break chains and allow me the freedom and fullness that only He can offer. As this new year is underway, I pray that my feet would be planted firmly in the truth that Jesus speaks over me. What we speak over ourselves and to others matters. Let what I speak this year come from the One who loves me and breathes life over me! Let my truth align what is in His good word. Thank you Jesus for another year! #freedom #goodnessofgod #anxietyrelief #freedomhousechurch #truth #truthseeker #chainbreaker by @kokosshoppe

After months of eating on the couch, floor and on the go, we FINALLY have a dining room again! We ripped out the old hardwoods & replaced with wide plank engineered hardwoods, swapped out the two windows that could not open with working windows, closed up an extra door, added 2 sconces and a fresh coat of paint. I can’t tell you how nice it is to finally be able to open a window and get fresh air in the kitchen! We started this project in January so it’s been quite the journey. It’s time to check dining room off the list of to dos! #beforeafter #diningroomdecor #diningroomrenovation #diningroomreno #lakehousediningroom #lakenormanlife #lakenormanliving #lifeisbeautiful #coastaldining #homerenovation #homereno #demoday by @kokosshoppe

My sister and I enjoyed a night surrounded by a company of God girls. Worship, praying, laughter and crying. @authenticconference threw such a fun event and roller skating at the end of the night was “icing on the cake” (no pun intended @pennymaxwell ). If you’re looking for pastors who will help you grow and preach the truth, come and try @freedomhouse I’m excited to dig in more and become rooted with my church. #womensnight #ladiesnightout #disco by @kokosshoppe

Bedroom Progress! New flooring, fresh paint, new bed, new lighting and lots of sweat equity! After almost 16 years of marriage, we’ve only ever had a headboard… I figured it was time to upgrade to an entire bed at this point 👌 Can’t wait to finish this week and show you the completed space! #bedroomrefresh #engineeredhardwood #bedroominspo #bedroomgoals #bedroomflooring #bedroomupdate #bedroomideas #neutralbedroom #lakebedroom by @kokosshoppe

Had the chance to watch this storm roll in over the water. You can see the ocean and waves just past the tree line. Ever since I was a little girl I enjoyed watching storms and listening to the wind and rain. It’s nice to enjoy the rain alongside my babies and see their amazement too. I remind them that even in the storm, God is in control. There can be peace even in the chaos. Psalms 107: 29-31

Here’s a couple of photos of our hall bath. We’re hanging some towel hooks this week and I’m on the hunt for some vintage art pieces. Hope this gives you some renovation inspiration! Happy Sunday friends ❤️ #neutralstyle #neautralbathroom #homedepottile #homegoodsfinds #athomefinds by @kokosshoppe
