I think l’ve officially entered my “try every 9PM
release” era🥹. I bought this because I’ve already tried Rebel and Elixir, and it’s very clear that @afnanperfumes hasn’t missed with this collection.

Night Out is a beautiful mix of fruity, floral, fresh and spicy. The opening is very juicy and sweet, and I almost thought it was a pear note (it’s apple!) Then the lavender gets introduced giving it this aromatic, slightly green freshness, accompanied by a bit of spice underneath.

I love how everything comes together as it settles. The woody notes are there, but not heavy or overpowering. The fragrance stays fresh, aromatic, a bit spicy and sweet, and I love that there’s a balance between all elements.

It’s not one of those fragrances that walks into a room before you do, but it definitely has presence. And the longevity? Very good. I just wish it projected more, beyond a few hours.

I’d definitely recommend smelling this one before buying though. It’s unisex, and leans more masculine, so I wouldn’t call it a safe blind buy. But overall, it’s a masterpiece.

I’ve never really been a lover of roses in anything (perfumes, body butters, etc). So whenever I find a one that doesn’t smell like the usual pungent rose fragrances, I’m immediately sat.

Roses Vanille by @mancera is one of those perfumes that makes me think this is what sexiness should smell like. Very feminine, bold, alluring and sultry. It gives “pour me a glass of wine and tell me more about you.”

The opening reveals the rose. It comes in strong, but not in an overwhelming way. It kind of swallows the air but still smells really good. As it starts to settle, I get this subtle zesty citrusy smell. I initially thought it was bergamot but it’s still citrus so I wasn’t completely wrong😅

Then the vanilla comes in. It’s not loud at all and you probably won’t notice it immediately, but it’s there. Slightly in the background, perfectly blending with the rose.

I’ll call this a sexy and intimate perfume. It’s the kind that makes people want to come closer to you just to figure out what you smell like (as if they should sniff you and not let you go).

Overall, a solid 8.5/10 for me. I love this so much I might need a backup bottle soon (S.OS😭)

LONG TIME NO POST🥺🥹

And what better way to resurface than with a little perfume unboxing?
Meet the famous Lynked Forever by @afnanperfumes . This was a blind buy and honestly, it’s been an interesting experience so far.

In its opening, there’s a strong outburst of white florals, especially Gardenia. It’s quite prominent and for me, a bit overwhelming. But once it settles on my skin, it takes a different turn and I start getting this delicious, creamy coconut note that reminds me of Fursan White by Khadlaj in a way.

Overall, l’d describe Lynked Forever as soft, feminine, and very floral. The projection is on the softer side, while the longevity is decent, but nothing particularly impressive.

As for me, I don’t think it’s my cup of tea. The white florals are a little too heavy for my liking, especially in the opening. But if you’re someone who loves a good floral fragrance, I think you’ll most definitely enjoy this one.

What better way to resurface than with a perfume haul?

Lately, I’ve been feeling a little out of touch. I’ve been getting tired of constantly showing up, feeling burnt out, and trying to figure out what exactly I should be looking forward to. It has gotten to the point where it has started affecting the things I genuinely enjoy, including this, but I’m realizing that sometimes, reigniting that spark is up to me.

That’s honestly the main reason for this haul. I needed something to get excited about again, and what better way than finally picking up a few perfumes that have been sitting on my wishlist for a while? Every fragrance I’m unboxing here is one I’ve thought about for months, so finally getting my hands on them feels incredibly satisfying.

If you can relate, I’d love to know: what do you do when you feel stuck or burnt out?

Going deeper into the world of perfumery wasn’t a surprise to me. After all, I’m just a girl who likes smelling good. What I didn’t expect though, was becoming the kind of person who buys a fragrance because the bottle is pretty.

A perfect example is this gorgeous bottle of Sugarcane Vanilla by @_arabiyat . The second I saw it, I KNEW I had to get my hands on it immediately. (Fun fact: this is the first Arabiyat Prestige perfume in my collection)

For the scent itself, Sugarcane Vanilla is not the vanilla fragrance I thought it would be. The opening hit me with a strong cherry note (which I have realized that I do enjoy), followed by a powdered sugar sweetness and a woody scent that shows up almost immediately. It’s as if all three notes are fighting to stay in charge. As it settles, the vanilla becomes more noticeable. It’s not the eat-me-up kind of vanilla I usually go for but instead comes across warmer and slightly musky.

The funny thing is that it reminds me of the Sawaar Vanille Blanc by Khadlaj, which was a bit disappointing because I was hoping for something completely different. As for its performance, I think it’s pretty decent (say 6 hours?)

I probably won’t be reaching out for it, as it’s not my cup of tea, but I don’t fully regret buying it because it’s such a gorgeous bottle. For now, I’d score it 5/10 (who knows? Maybe I’d love it in the future).

Since the past week, I’ve been having Fragrasms (Fragrasm Orgasm🤭) and it’s because I finally unboxed the Nebras Elixir by @lattafa_perfumes

One thing I’ve learned about Lattafa fragrances with flankers or collections is that the juice is not always the same, even when the name and design look alike. The Elixir feels very distinct from the OG Nebras, and it gives me joy knowing that.

It’s such an airy, soft and sweet gourmand vanilla perfume that reminds me of a very moist and creamy vanilla cake, covered in the fluffiest whipped cream.

Honestly, this smells like comfort in a bottle, and I think it’s most suitable to be worn in colder weather and cozy spaces. I have a strong feeling I won’t be putting this down anytime soon.

Recently, I added the Angham Second Song by @lattafa_perfumes to my collection, and when I tell you I haven’t been able to put it down???

As a girl who enjoys perfumes with white florals, it was no surprise that I would fall in love with the Second Song. It’s such a beautiful, soft, floral, feminine and beautiful perfume. It reminds me of how a soft woman, who’s basking in her femininity, should smell like.

Lately, l’ve been figuring out what it layers really well with this beautiful scent, and of course I had to share (we don’t do gatekeeping here, so you’re welcome!😌)

First Impression of the Sawaar Vanille Blanc by @khadlajperfumes

As someone who has been leaning into her Vanilla era lately, I would say that this was such an complex blind buy for me. I had assumed it would be a gourmand type of vanilla that reminded me of desserts and stuff but that’s not what this is.

Sawaar Vanille Blanc is such an interesting addition to my collection, with different personalities. In the opening, the powdered sugar scent is so pronounced, almost as if you’re inhaling icing sugar, and then shortly after, you begin to smell the vanilla spring up. It’s very soft, not overpowering or loud.

In its semi-dry down state, you get that musky/woody smell, almost as if the overall scent has metamorphosed into an entirely new smell. The woody scent is very pronounced but not loud, like attention seeking.

I actually love how soft and gender-neutral it is. It doesn’t lean too feminine or too masculine; sits right in the middle, effortlessly.

Blind buy? Hmm.. I’d say try to sniff it first if you can (or maybe get a tester), just because it might not be what you expect when you hear “vanilla.” Overall, I’d give her a 6.5/10

Beyond how a perfume smells on my skin, l’ve come to notice how much the weather influences its performance, how the perfume sits, projects or even lasts long.

Cooler days (Tor me, the rainy season) nave a way of bringing certain notes to life. They bloom even better, and on days like that, l don’t want light and airy vibe. I would prefer the scents that would project heavily, wrap around me, linger in the air, and feel almost like a warm pat on the back.
