this version of you

before the season started, i wasn’t planning on performing. i kept looking down thinking that i would only hold back the team. i look back at those moments and it made me realize how much i would’ve missed if I didn’t to go to auditions, and thank god i decided to last minute lol. what’s even cooler, i got to work the social media this year and i took so many cool photos at MCCGA and WGI! i wanna thank the version of me in high school who thought he wasn’t good enough but still kept going. being a part of this group has helped me become a better performer, creator, and person. thank you to each and every person i’ve met along the way. i love you lvpe ⚜️💜

i go on…

this has been a dream to do media for a world class drum corps. never thought it was possible until @smohlermedia said they needed a photographer. this being my first drum corps experience, i didn’t know what to expect, so there were A LOT of firsts (very interesting firsts too). it’s crazy to think now that i almost denied it bc i had a lot of doubt, but i’m so glad i took it. i learned so much these past few weeks and took some ICONIC photos. thank you to all the members, staff, and media peeps i met for an unforgettable summer. hope to do this again in the future!

maybe it’s simple

i can’t even describe how much it means to me to be a part of this team. i never would’ve thought that i’d be here to experience so many things (my first WGI competition AND MEDAL????). i’m beyond grateful to have met all these incredible people, and i can’t wait to see what the future holds! i love you la voûte ⚜️🤍
