‘AR’ IS OUT NOW!There is beauty and love around us but to fully open up to it, we must confront the ugliness in ourselves. What you get on this album is not an idealized view of humanity. It is an acceptance of the ugly, jealous, hopeless and animalistic nature of our species. But also of our ability to transform.Being part of the artistic landscape today can often make artists feel like they are cogs in a propaganda machine. Stressing for attention or building hype. So much work goes into making music and unfortunately disillusionment can be a major part of this. It is a clear possibility that AR will end up as a very misunderstood album. No punches have been pulled - not sonically nor emotionally.As a band and as human beings we need to do this. Warts and all. As we move forward we do so together. This is an impact in our journey this far.We are eternally grateful to @jacob.bredahl from Dead Rat Studio, Scott Evans @gse of Antisleep Audio and Brad Boatright from @audiosiege and everyone else who have worked with us on this album.Kristian Kallevik and @fysiskformat , Abel Gibert of @headrecords_ and last but not least Manne Gersby from @vinyltroll Records for their help with releasing the record.We hope you will find something of value here.AR is available on black vinyl via. Thank you for all the support, messages, stories, and kind words over the past months.It has meant more to us than we can express.As many of you know by now, Peter died on May 22 at 23:00.The audio in this post is taken from Red Furnace (Condemned) - the last piece of music we recorded together.It was also the first time we experimented with clean vocals.The last words Peter recorded were:“condemned men”He lives on through the music, and in every space it continues to reach.Thank you. by @kollapseband

“De mennesker vi omgiver os med, er det eneste der betyder noget” ❤️Sådan siger Peter Clement Lund i den bedste solo Sort Søndag podcast jeg nogensinde har lavet. Eller i hvert fald den vigtigste. For hvordan siger man farvel til livet, sin kone og sine tre børn, når man kun er 39 år? Hvordan kæmper man imod meningsløsheden? Det findes der sikkert mange svar på, men i den her samtale står det klart, at musik og kunst kan være et mægtigt våben i livet og et stærkt skjold i sorgen. Peter kom ud af et ungdoms stofmisbrug og fandt tilbage til livet vha. tonser tunge toner. Peter forlader livet, til lyden af mørkets melodier. Men der er, selv her i de sidste dage, enormt meget lys, glæde og en sær form for ro i Peters liv. Og jeg er så ufatteligt stolt af, at jeg blev betroet at indfange dele af alt det på en vigtig lydoptagelse. Jeg har lagt hele mit hjerte i den her podcast. Så jeg håber inderligt, at du vil lytte til den. Også selvom du ikke bryder dig om heavy-metal og syntes at podcasten “larmer”. For livet larmer. Kræft larmer. Døden larmer. Og det har vi forsøgt at udtrykke i en art podcast poesi, som jeg i øvrigt skylder KÆMPE tak for til lyddesigner Emil Germod. Det er hans fortjeneste, at de følelser jeg gerne vil udtrykke igennem musik og samtale, står så stærkt og rent som de gør. Jeg skylder også en kæmpe tak til Demersal, for at give os lov til at have verdenspremiere på deres fantastiske single “Som sendt fra himlen”. Et af de smukkeste danske metalnumre jeg nogensinde har hørt.Jeg håber at du vil dele den her podcast med alle du elsker. For odds er imod den. De mest lyttede podcasts varer ca. 20 minutter. Den her varer 2 timer. De mest populære podcasts har ikke musik. Den her er fyldt med musik (der til og med larmer). Den her podcast er ikke spændende true crime. Den er ikke interessant verdenshistorie. Den handler ikke om UFOer, politik, longevity, reality TV, satire eller sladder. Den handler om den rå tilværelse. Levet liv, sort sorg, trøst, magisk tænkning og kærlighed. Jeg har ikke flere ord. We have hugged countless times. Mostly before going on stage, but today was different.Today we shared probably the most important hug we have ever shared. We said our final goodbyes, knowing that Peter doesn’t have much time left and that soon our trio will become a duo. But Peter will stay with us forever.We love you all, and thank you for being with us through these tough times.For now, there is silence… by @kollapseband

This is the update we did not want to make.These last few years have felt unreal. From playing some of our biggest most meaningful shows and meeting some of the most loving, passionate, creative and kind people to being crushed into total submission on every possible level.We cannot escape the fact that our beloved brother Peter Clement Lund is dying.KOLLAPSE has always been about struggle — supporting each other through bouts of mental health issues, existential despair, facing fears and coming out less broken.With this, we have no say, no way to alter what is inevitably coming.We are heartbroken beyond words.We have felt the love and warmth of family, friends and from a music community that has transcended words, genres and borders. To all of you who in some way have reached out, showed up, written or called — we love you all.This band means the world to us, we cannot imagine going through life without this dark beautiful thing.KOLLAPSE will always and forever be the three of us, but we will try to keep pushing on with everything we have in us, but for now we need to focus on showing up, sharing, and making sure that love flows through us all until we have to part...Be present in every moment.Peter, Peter and Thomas. by @kollapseband

Vi spiller i morgen, lørdag d. 3. januar, for vores Peter og hans familie i Pumpehuset.Billedet viser en über-sej dreng, der har 2 ligeså seje søskende, med tilhørende ekstra sej mor og far.Vi har lavet og trykt 65 T-shirts, som vi sælger til showet - “betal, hvad I kan” med et minimum på 100 kr., og vi sørger for, at pengene ryger til Aalborg og forsøder livet for hele familien. by @kollapseband
