A month later, we are now a big family of 350 students 📚🔖🖇📝📜🪄 this has been such a fun meaningful fruitful journey 🌈 by @komorebeear

A lot of wonderful things in August archive 🌴This one is the top tier. Here’s to the place where the memories and the people captured my heart these last 5 years and shaped my life for the better.

P.s Special thanks to @narfuniversity @narfu_international for writing the gratitude letter to my parents. It really warmed my heart♥️

P.s.s Sarjana: Proses menjadi dewasa is on my blog. Akhirnya bisa diselesaikan.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d secure 3 full scholarships for my master’s, spanning 4 countries across 3 continents, at 3 of the most prestigious universities in each country and globally, and a leading company for constructed wetlands in Netherlands. This journey, much like earlier ones, has been… bittersweet. I’ve worn many hats: a nanny, a project manager, an environmental engineer, a research fellow, and often, a broke broke broken student.

While this one piece of paper may represent my achievements, but behind every step of my journey, there were pillars of strength and love.

✨ To my parents, whose bravery and unwavering support sent their only daughter miles away to chase dreams. Their belief in me has been the foundation of every achievement.
✨ To my brother, whose trust was unwavering.
✨ To Tante Lely, whose generosity made my first step in Italy possible.
✨ To Jeremy, who never once left my side, always standing as my rock and safety net.
✨ To the Demalima family, my haven in Cuijk with the most heartwarming hugs and meals.
✨ To the Kuijper family, for enveloping me in boundless love and support.
✨ To Om Udin, Kakak Ati, Om Bombong, Tante and Om Arizenjaya cherished cornerstones of my family, always lending a hand with anything they have.
✨ To my amazing friends all over the places, always there one call away with answers to even my silliest questions, random breakdowns, and a couch on sleepless nights. Special shoutout to the Vorrey gang, my UNIPD mates,, and my US fam, proving that deep bonds don’t always need time.
✨ To the kind souls in Pulau Ai, embracing me as one of their own.
✨ Above all, His divine love that brought these people to my life.

Maybe in another life, we dont have to leave home for a better future

Maybe in another life, I get to grow old in the language my mother sang to me.

Maybe in another life, we don’t have to bury ‘home’ to build a future. #livingabroadlife #studyabroadlife #studyabroad by @komorebeear

Spring was in full bloom, the Eiffel Tower almost crowd-free, and the softest sunrise over Paris.

Thank you, @clarissanatan, for directing this super awkward couple with so much patience and making us feel so comfortable. No one could have captured these moments better. 🤍 by @komorebeear

💌 Valencia, Ibiza, Sardinia, and Roma
Roma, Roma, Roma...

My daydream wandered back here too often not to call it my favourite city in the world.

A Roman afternoon where the sun stops merely shining and starts dripping like warm honey over the facades, bathing the city in shades of ochre, terracotta, and burnt sienna. Making it a landscape permanently caught in golden hour, where the centuries do not stand in line but collapse into one another.

I never thought of it as a romantic city until then… we were watching these eras intertwine from the backseat of a taxi when our driver proudly claimed his roots Romano di Roma. We murmured a polite, “Ah, your city...” then he smiled and said. “No,Roma belongs to all who are here. Because Roma is Amor. And love belongs to everyone, does it not?”

Amor, amor, amor…

Could a place be more romantic than a sanctuary that has outlived every empire that tried to define it, leaving behind only the ruins and the one thing that never fades?

Could a place be more romantic than the ultimate muse for art, poetry, and film?

Rome doesn’t just show you beauty. Somehow, it pulls you into it. Every corner feels like a painting. Every shadow feels like a line from a poem.

There, our own love story weaved into the newest layer of its 2000-year-old legacy.

We left the busy streets behind, trading the smell of coffee and warm stone for orange blossoms as we climbed towards The Garden.

Up there, the city noise faded into the background, replaced by the distant sound of a saxophone. Two painters worked quietly at their canvases. Three or more couples sat close together, enjoying.

By a weathered stone staircase, in a small nook that felt as though it had waited a thousand years just for us, the whole city stretched out beneath us in the heat of the day.
