Paying off my out-of-state tuition loans by covering combat sports was not on my bingo card if you asked the 18-year-old Alex 🤯👩🏽‍🎓

#careergrowth #entrepreneur #kidslearning

While a career pivot is imminent, I will always look back at my time as the face of jiu jitsu media with great pride! But before I go, I wanted to create a space for the people who have reached out to me over the years telling me I have their dream job or asking for advice on how to break into the industry.

There is a Google form in my bio that will help give me more info on anyone looking to connect!

My final semesters of grad school were spent teaching undergrads. Then, graduating into a pandemic forced me to adapt my knowledge into the new world of streaming & digital media rather than traditional sports.

There is a Google form in my bio where I am hoping to make initial connections with aspiring media. Send to your nephews, siblings, teammates & friends who are wanting a connection with someone with over 6 years in the combat sports game.

Supporting the global growth of martial arts will always be at the core— which is why I believe investing in the next generation of reporters/media personalities to continue the hype is pivotal to avoid potential monopolization or even decline of our favorite sports!

The team behind the Beasts with Brains Media Agency is what made leaving a full time job possible! If you’d like to work with my team of talented editors & storytellers, the Google form is also available for that.

Last time I was in Miami, I was at @univision studios showcasing why Copa Combate is the toughest tournament in sports: ONE NIGHT. ONE BRACKET. ONE WINNER.

Now I’m heading back to Miami for the debut of @enterthehalo, which has a similar format.

And honestly, one-night brackets are some of my favorite events because the stories happen organically. The first round alone creates the storylines without any pre-event beef needed. Just put 8 fighters in a bracket and let the action tell the story. 🔥

Miami friends, what are you up to Friday night?! Join us in Bonk Studios… limited seats still available !

How to establish a start up promotion as the #1 promotion to be part of? Get the most accomplished & most exciting fighters on your roster. How to accelerate that process (and make it spicy😅)? Snag those competitors up with just 3 weeks left before the Olympics of Jiu Jitsu is supposed to take place!🌶️ (in a vulnerable time where many people are disappointed by missed opportunities to have a positive impact on competitive jiu jitsu scene being swept under the rug)

Grab your popcorn jiu jitsu nerds 🤓 What could be next? 👇🏽

(Other than Adele, it is not confirmed the reasoning for these bjj athletes not being on competitor list. Once I know more, I will let you know on @komplexfight )
