Volcano’s ‘Ōhi‘a Lehua Half Marathon 2026 ✅

I definitely was in for a treat today 😋 I underestimated this race course and it definitely tested my mental stability. No matter what came ahead of me I dug deep and didn’t give up. I pushed all the way through and gave my best effort. On a better note, we PR’d in the 15k, 10 mile & a official 1:58:11 in the half marathon👏🏽 We go back to the drawing board and get ready for the next race (TBD) because there is always room for improvement!

Today marked my 5th half marathon (all time) and I couldn’t be any more proud of myself for choosing to stay consistent and for always trusting the process… taken in The Volcano School of Arts & Sciences by @konabayrunner

Kona Half Marathon 2026, Kailua-Kona HI 📍🏃🏽‍♂️🏅

I was out of training one month before today due to injury and I only had one week & a half to get myself back up to par (best of my ability). I definitely surprised myself as I came into today’s race believing that I would finish at a 2:30 but that wasn’t the case… I came in at 1:58 and crushed my goal time! The body was fatigue but the mentality was untouchable 😤

Stay tuned for the comeback 👀

It’s hard to get fit,
But it’s harder to look in the mirror
And dislike what you see.

It always seems impossible until it’s done. Success is not permanent and failure is not final. Never stop working after success and never stop trying after failure. Road to Kona marathon (Half marathon) begins… 🙌🏽🔥
