Autumn has well and truly arrived 🍂 And with colder, wetter days creeping in, a few extra layers are always a good idea. New @janjiuk has just landed in store, with two additions to the women’s range: 🧥 Auras Ultrafleece Hoodie Lightweight warmth with a soft, brushed fleece interior. Breathable and quick-drying, it’s designed to keep you warm on chilly runs without adding unnecessary bulk. 🦺 Shift Auras Lined Vest A lightweight insulated vest with an ultrafleece lining to lock in warmth. The weather-resistant outer, zipped pockets and two-way zip make it a practical extra layer for colder days on the trails. Both are designed to keep you warm without weighing you down, whether you’re heading out for a run or exploring the fells. Available in store now. Pop in and have a look 👋 . . . . . #janji #trailrunning #trailrunningkit #womensrunning #lakedistrict by @kongrunningkeswick

@mounttocoast has landed at KONG 🥳🙌🏼 And we’re pretty excited about this one. We’re now one of only a handful of UK stores stocking Mount to Coast — a brand built around going long. Three models have landed in store: ⛰️ T1 — TRAIL | 255g | 4mm drop Lightweight and nimble, built for technical trails with 4mm lugs and a Vibram Megagrip outsole. 🌲 H1 — GRAVEL | 242g | 6mm drop Built for gravel and mixed terrain, bridging the gap between road and trail when your run involves a bit of everything. 🛣️ C1 — ROAD | 267g | 6mm drop A cushioned, stable road shoe built for long-distance training and going very, very long. All three are now on the shelves at KONG Running in Keswick. Come in, try them on and see what all the fuss is about 👟 . . . . . #MountToCoast #KongRunning #Keswick #UltraRunning taken in Kong Running by @kongrunningkeswick

THE GENESIS 10K — DONE. 🏁 Two weeks, plenty of laps around Latrigg and some seriously quick running later… we have our winners. ⚡ Fastest Male: Joe Daly — 41:01 ⚡ Fastest Female: Izzy Wright — 48:14 🔁 Most Laps Male: Cristophor Butuc-Mayer — 15 laps 🔁 Most Laps Female: Tanya Coates — 7 laps 15 laps though… we’re not sure if Cristophor really loves Latrigg or just really wanted that Salomon prize bundle. 😂 Massive congratulations to all four winners, and a huge thank you to everyone who borrowed a pair of Genesis 2s, headed out on the loop and got involved. That’s the Genesis 10K wrapped. Until the next one… 👀 . . . . . #KongRunning #SalomonRunning #Genesis2 #Keswick taken in Kong Running by @kongrunningkeswick

ONE WEEK DOWN 🔥 We’re a week into the Salomon Genesis 2 Challenge and we’ve already seen some seriously good efforts out there. Current standings: 🏃 Most laps — Aaron Thompson | 5 ⚡ Fastest — Anthony Pratt | 49:53 🏃‍♀️ Most laps — Eleanor Pitcher | 4 ⚡ Fastest — Eleanor Pitcher | 54:28 But there’s still time to shake things up…😅 The challenge finishes Monday, and with 13 Valleys happening this weekend, if you’re in Keswick supporting rather than racing… you’ve got plenty of time to sneak a Genesis lap in while you wait 😉 Demo pairs of the Genesis 2 are available from the shop — borrow a pair, get yourself around the loop and see where you land on the leaderboard. Anything can change by Monday. 👀 📍 Strava segment via the link in bio 📩 No Strava? 10K. Two ways to win. One shoe. 🚀✨ We’ve teamed up with @salomon for a brand new Kong challenge, and this time, outright speed isn’t the only way to get yourself to the top of the leaderboard. 😎 We’re setting a 10K trail loop around Keswick, with two ways to take the win: ⚡ FASTEST LAP Fastest male + fastest female over the 10K loop. 🔁 MOST LAPS Male + female who rack up the most completed loops over the duration of the challenge. There is, however, one rule…🤭 Every qualifying lap has to be run in the Salomon Genesis 2. Don’t own a pair? You don’t need to. We’ll have a full Genesis 2 demo pool here at Kong, so come in, grab a pair and take them out on the loop. Run it once. Run it ten times. Go flat out for the fastest lap or keep coming back for more. 🏆 Four winners. BIG Salomon prizes up for grabs. Full route, dates, prizes and all the important bits dropping Monday. 😎🔥 Fastest lap or most laps… pick your poison. . . . . . #KongRunning #SalomonRunning #Genesis2 #TrailRunning #Keswick taken in Kong Running by @kongrunningkeswick

Properly put through its paces. 👟😎 We’ve taken the new @salomon S/LAB Genesis 2 out for a spin around Wasdale, putting it through some of the roughest and most technical terrain the Lake District has to offer. And honestly? We’ve loved it. It’s fast and responsive when you want to move, but still feels secure when the terrain gets rocky, steep and a little unpredictable. The grip gives plenty of confidence on technical ground, while the stable, cushioned platform keeps things comfortable when the miles start to rack up. From picking your way across rocky ridgelines to letting the legs go on the descents, this is a shoe that makes you want to keep moving. The Salomon S/LAB Genesis 2 is now in store. 🛒 📷 @tanyaraab . . . . . #kongrunning #salomon #slabgenesis2 #trailrunning #mountainrunning taken in Kong Running by @kongrunningkeswick
