CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF KOOK🏅🏅🏅 Yes, it's already been 10 amazing summers delivering milkshakes, juices, and smoothies!!! I feel very blessed to celebrate this milestone, as I couldn't have made it with out all you hardworking staff, loyal customers, locals, holiday makers, and friends that sometime even feel more like family to me.. Over the last 10 years, we have had our shares of set backs - Two break-ins, a pandamic, structural work on the premises (forcing me to shut 45 days of the season) but we have always come out on the other side, smiling😃 I've seen kids become adults, and toddlers become teenagers, been there through illnesses, pregnancies, romances, and more... For the 10 years of Kook, I would like to take a moment to thank all the staff for helping me with their hard work through the years, and celebrate the man that made my dreams a reality by selling the business all those years ago. I had the chance of working for him for 5 years at his 2 premises in town, Moo’z, on Gover lane and Moo’z 2 ( now Kook) I can only imagine what a pain in the backside I was to employ, being the little bossy control freak that I am, but he survived me haha... After relocating to Bristol, he offered me a chance to buy the business and set me up for a life of doing something I always loved. I am still to this day, so I am so grateful 🙏 IMPORTANT I will be offering a special for the next few weeks, 3 of our drinks at the prices they were 10 years ago.😃 One fruit smoothie, one freshly pressed juice or one delicious milkshake for only £3.45, depending on what tickles your fancy. What with all the cost of living going up, we want everyone from all walks of life to be able to afford a treat now and then for as long as we can sustain it. Hope to see you in our little shop on the corner of Fore Street 🍋‍🟩🍒 Thank you all for making this happen. I hope I will still be here for many years to come... Thank you, Andy @andy.charalambous Love Helene and Stevo x @lovenewquay by @kooknewquay
HALLOWEEN 2026 by @kooknewquay
That's a wrap!! Season 2026 is finished, and what a great season it was. Not only did we have an incredible summer with the weather (and we all know that ultimately, hot weather, cold drinks and ice creams are a winning combo) but it really makes my heart full that so many people, both near, and sadly far away, make it a priority to come get a Kook treat, say hi, catch up and even want to spend their hard earned money with us..thankyou. Being our tenth year in business, shows the support you guys have shown even still being open in a difficult economy. Ive got the best staff a girl could wish for too, but sadly a few of them are growing up and moving on. Ive known a few of them since childhood, and are now wonderful young adults, that feel more like friends than staff, and I hope they feel the same way. I like to look after my girls (and boy Cobie!😂) Anyways, I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to absolutely everyone I saw this year at the shop and even Alan from Truscotts who kept plotting to turn my staff against me🤔😂 Long may the good times continue, time to put my feet up, go on holiday, and hopefully see you all fit and healthy next season for KOOK NEWQUAY 2027. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SUMMER We have been blessed with such beautiful sunny weather this season, its been fabulous. Can't believe the 6 weeks holidays are now coming to an end. I feel very lucky to have a great team and lovely customers/ friends coming back year after year. Lets hope for some nice autumn swells & some more sunny days... by @kooknewquay
I can’t remember how many years back I discovered @kooknewquay I love it! And Helen, she’s as wholesome and as lovely as her juices!! (and she highlighted to me to how good a fancy pants iPhone would be for me, when I went phone less for 2 weeks deciding what to go for when my 6 year old Hawei got wet in a fun rowing boat muck about. “Invest in yourself “ So now you’re seeing more reels from me … that’s thanks to Helen!) #cornwall #newquay #juicebar #healthyliving #fitat50 by @kooknewquay
HOME IS WHERE IS MY HEART IS❤ It's already been a month that Kook Newquay has been back open, and it's great to see the town coming alive as summer starts to hit. There are lots of new businesses in town which we can't wait to visit, and it's been amazing to catch up with everyone who has come back to us and am so very grateful to each and every one of you. I just love this time of year. There's that sense of anticipation for the summer months, the town is quieter, and often, May into June can be the best months for weather in Cornwall. I'm blessed to have my team back for the season too, I've got such a wonderful team at Kook, and it really gives the place a sense of family. I'm not very good at using social media, but just wanted to say a big hello to you guys reading this and again to say thanks to you🌞 We are open from 9am to 5pm Mon to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays for the moment. I really hope I'll be seeing you visit for a drink, or just pop your head into say hi 👋 Have a great weekend everyone Helene x by @kooknewquay
THANK YOU for another wonderful season... See you all on the other side of the winter, when the days are long and the sun is out. Reopen Easter 2026 by @kooknewquay
And this wraps up another beautiful season at Kook. The summer went by in a flash, can't believe we are at this time already. I was very lucky to have a fantastic team to share my days with. Thank you for all the loyal customers and the new ones. I am feeling very grateful to have you all.. Hope to see you all in the spring Helene by @kooknewquay
The guys from @proper.photography.kernow had the brilliant idea to team up with a few of the fab local businesses by giving us all a disposable camera to capture moments over the Boardmasters weekend. @blend.nqy @clemobooks @saltd_nqy @thepaganarms We all said it was fun to not be able to see the photos until they are developed rather than deleting them as we go, old school. Featuring our new member of staff @willow_bracefield and @susanbracefield finger🤣, the amazing team @surfinglifeuk @46_alana_42 @ffreyaalou @ella_f6868 @rona_terri03 @kempcobie @dewey.scarlett Here's some the photos we took over the busy weekend. by @kooknewquay

OPEN FROM TODAY!!! Kook Newquay 1 Fore Street I feel like it's my 1st day back at school today after a fab winter off. It's been hard work preparing the season for another summer of fun in the best place on earth, but the shop is sparkling ✨️ and stocked up ready to go. Fresh fruits and veg for those healthy juices and power shots, smoothies, ice creams, and of course, it wouldn't be KOOK without those naughty milkshakes😘 We have new tees, some for sale at my hubby's surfshop around the corner @fringesurfshop I'm looking forward to catching up with all my regulars here in Newquay and all the visitors over the Easter holidays. I've printed more 'Kook' drink vouchers available at the shop for your friends and family that you'd like to treat too.. It feels great to see the town come alive!! It's the Saturday street market too this weekend. Thank you for supporting our little independent 👊 See you soon.... Love Helene..x #Newquay #Cornwall #community #juices #smoothies, #milkshakes @lovenewquay #coffee #independent by @kooknewquay
