In honor of everyone’s favorite drum machine coded holiday, I’ve decided to drop another remix. It’s an 808 inspired remix of the Ed Sheeran track Shivers. (Link in bio)! I was mall walking around the Glendale galleria last week to escape the heat and it popped on. I instantly thought to myself, this could use some junk in the trunk. I immediately went home grabbed an acapella and started learning the structure of the track and chord progressions. Most of the drum samples came directly from my Roland TR 808 drum machine. All sampled through an SSL super analogue channel st, and sequenced in Logic. Once I had a solid mix cooking started the art. All drawn in Illustrator. I think it’s important to note that this art is original and not generated. #bandcampfriday taken in Beachwood Canyon by @kool_karlo

“Lost in the Sauce” is live on all platforms and we are still working on getting wax pressed . Support @wavelords_music if you love us cuz we certainly love playing for you! DM us for preorder til we have these out . Posting about it clearly isn’t our strong suit but we can’t wait to share this record with the world and hope some more photos by @deathbyjames can remind you of how hard we shred. It takes a village and our band is so grateful for all the support. Doing shit yourself without a label is so daunting and this EP needs to be in your record collection !! ❤️ you !
Thanks again to @true.murra for production, @daveaju for master and @sidroamsbravo for cover art .
Shout out to @permanentrecordsroadhouse for always being the most supportive and badass venue in LA to play ! They really love local music and get it for real . taken in Permanent Records Roadhouse by @kool_karlo
