Hello, Autumn! 🍂 This Summer marked the one year anniversary of “Sunday Sips” my silly little art-tea party that has grown into a beloved monthly library program here at @eltinglibrary! 🥳 I am so grateful to be able to bring this program to life, and to support the community in the process— Thank you so very much to Elting Memorial Library for allowing me to do so, and thank you to ALL of the many patrons who have joined me for our tea & creativity! 💙 Please join us again this month on Sunday, October 11th for our next gathering: RSVP for FREE on Elting’s website (linked in my profile)! 💌 As always, tea & treats will be provided alongside all the art materials, and guests are welcome to bring things in to share. And a bonus treat: King George accompanies me to nearly every event, and is always happy to meet new friends (even if he sleeps through it)! 🐾 Featured in this post is a fantastic portrait done by @boogailart 🎨💕 taken in Elting Memorial Library by @koolmisskat

Earlier this Spring, I had the honor of sharing a table with @mayoralexandriawojcik, bringing “Care & Creativity” to the community! 💖 My Creation Station & Pop-Up Portraits were a part of the @sliceofnew Showcase at @thelemonsqueezenewpaltz— and were even featured in an article by the @newpaltzoracle! I will be returning THIS SUNDAY (7/19) to put more people onto paper! Come say hi and listen to some great local music while you model for me 😇 taken in The Lemon Squeeze New Paltz by @koolmisskat

How to have a great day in late Spring: 1. Visit your local library (bring your friends!) 2. Get a FREE Reiki session to relax your mind, body, and spirit 3. Pick out some fresh new herb plants for your home or community gardens 4. Browse the used book section to find a new favorite (or a few!) 5. Get a sweet new tote bag to store it all 6. Enjoy your new treasures & the beautiful weather on the patio 7. Realize that ALL of these things directly support & fund your local library, meaning you and your community can continue to have days like this! Thank you @gardinerlibrary @go_rcls for having all of these wonderful resources and ways to support our community! 📚🌿🙏💕 taken in Gardiner Library by @koolmisskat

What are you reading (or listening to) currently? 📖☀️ I always have multiple books going at a time (controversial, I know)— • “All In Her Head” by Elizabeth Comen • “The Courage To Be Disliked” by Ichiro Kishimi & Fumitake Koga • “Last Night At The Telegraph Club” by Malinda Lo (pictured here) & for a fun bedtime story that I’m reading aloud to my partner: • “The Westing Game” by Ellen Raskin by @koolmisskat
