We said goodbye to our sweet boy Steve. 🤍 Ryan and I got Steve 6 months after moving to California, and from the moment he arrived—nearly 100lbs of handsome, soulful energy—he stole hearts wherever he went.

He loved meeting his human Steve’s, always placing himself right in the middle of the action, barking like he was part of the conversation. He loved the beach, standing guard over Hayden, hanging at camp with his dog crew, and lying shoulder-to-shoulder with Lexi and Charley. His big bark brought us comfort, and his gentle presence brought us peace.

He gave us 13 incredible years (his birthday would’ve been July 9th) and was deeply loved by many—those who knew him and those who cared for him through tough times. Even as laryngeal paralysis slowly took away his strength, he never lost his spirit or loving ways.

I’ll miss my weevy boy forever—his warmth, his loyalty, and how he always let me wake him up just because I needed a snuggle.
