Dedicated to our rescue pack in honor of our late brother, Kope. #adoptdontshop
POSTS STORIES REELS
Haven’t posted for a while, but if you’ve been watching my stories you know that me and the potatoes are officially HI residents 🥹❤️. The Year of the Snake has brought a close to many chapters for me including my time in San Diego and maybe I’ll make a longer post about it one day, but most likely not cause I’m too busy chasing down trespassers and taking videos of my dogs running on grass lol. #sweetpotatoes #uala #poidogs #rescuedogs #adoptdontshop #hoiikapiko #home by @kopebean

Special news…NALA HAS OFFICIALLY FOUND A HOME!!! With her new furrever family she’ll be able to watch endless movies, play with her siblings and her fútbol, sleep in a warm bed with her pawrents and learn how to be a dog again. And that home is….WITH US HERE!!! 💕💕💕 After almost 4 months with this girl and getting to know her, I just couldn’t imagine a better fit than with our pack. Especially when we found Mufi the most perfect home and said a hui hou, I just knew in my heart that Nala belonged with us. I think I’ve always known ❤️. A huge thank you to @thecantufoundation for bringing this special girl into my life and letting me foster fail and everyone who’s been rooting for her. A huge thank you to Mufi’s new ‘ohana for not only giving him the best life but also letting us follow him and his journey @mufi.licious. A reunion one day is definitely in order as we now officially have a pack of 5 potatoes that includes his Mama Nala!!! #adoptdontshop #rescuedogs #thecantufoundation #dogdebordeaux #dogdebordeauxlovers #gotchaday #fosterfailed #officiallyadopted by @kopebean
On January 3rd, I saw a video posted about a poor, pregnant senior mama who had been abandoned on the streets of Mexico and was about to give birth any minute. The rescue that posted about her, @thecantufoundation, was looking for an emergency foster. Despite not knowing her history, temperament, health, or really anything about her, I couldn’t get the image of her out of my head, so I reached out. The next day, the incredible volunteers of TCF brought her across the border, and she was tucked into a warm bed in my house with me laying beside her. If you’ve been following our journey, you know it’s been a long 8 weeks filled with sleepless nights, vet visits, bottle feeding, grief, lots of tears, lots of cuddles, laughter, milestones and all the emotions one experiences in animal rescue. And now the day has come where we begin to look for their furrever homes 🥹♥️. Nala is the first mama I’ve ever taken care of, and she is absolutely one of the greatest most beautiful dogs I’ve had. She is smart, chill, funny, a great mama, and just wants to be loved herself. Her hands down favorite activities are watching movies, playing with her fútbol, and just cruising around with you. Her one surviving cub, Mufasa, is my first foster pup and has all the spirit of his siblings who didn’t make it within him. He’s ADORABLE, curious, feisty and absolutely loves to be held and cuddled. I’ve fostered many times before, but I know this one will be the hardest for me to let go 🫶🏽 EDITED 3/13/25: Mufasa has officially been adopted by the most amazing pawrents. You can continue to follow his journey at @mufi.licious 🤎. You can apply to adopt Nala online through @thecantufoundation. EDITED 3/27/25: We kept her 🤣 #momdogof5 #adoptdontshop #rescuedogs #thecantufoundation #doguedebordeaux #doguedebordeauxlovers #bordeaux by @kopebean
The gentle paw 😭 Meet Libby our new foster from @hugheartsfoundation. The sweetest most timid little thang, but is very polite when requesting some cuddles 🥰 #rescuedogs #fostersdogs #adoptdontshop by @kopebean
Happy Easter from the bunnies! Is it possible to love a foster pup more than my actual dogs? 😂 Miss Bunny Wailer is the absolute best, dorkiest and sweetest dogs we’ve ever had. She is truly such a unique baby and we’re going to make sure she goes to the best home possible. I love this girl so much! #rescuedog #fosterdog #adoptdontshop #BunnyWailer #HappyEaster #easterbunny @socalpitbullrescue by @kopebean
Here’s a little cuteness overload for your aloha friday. Meet our new foster baby, Bunny Wailer (formerly known as Brooklyn). This precious 9 month old girl was a stray before being dumped at a shelter where she was about to be euthanized because of her injuries. The crew at @socalpitbullrescue rescued her in the knick of time and we picked her up on Saturday to bring her home. She had her first vet visit yesterday where she was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia (hence why she “hops” like a bunny) and she will have to undergo urgent surgery on Monday. Despite all the odds being stacked against her, she is the absolute BEST and I am blown away that she has never been in a home before. She gets along perfectly with my crazy pack, is super sweet and loves to cuddle. It makes me so happy seeing her smile, I’m nervous that we might have another foster fail on our hands 😭 jk. Anyway, we are asking for donations to non-profit @socalpitbullrescue to help with her surgeries (she will need several) so that she can finally run free without pain. I love the mission of this rescue and helping dogs that otherwise wouldn’t have a chance. Once she is healed we will look for her furrever home, but until then we will shower her with the love she deserves! Welcome to the ‘ohana Bunny girl! #rescuedog #adoptdontshop #pitbullsofinstagram #rescuedogsofinstagram #BunnyWailer by @kopebean
O’AHU PEEPS! We are looking for a loving home for this baby girl. This sweet baby wandered on to our property in Punalu’u about a month ago. She didn’t have any microchip and no one claimed her when we asked neighbors. I got to meet her when I was home a few weeks ago and she is absolutely PERFECT. She has a very sweet temperament, is VERY playful once she warms up, she’s always happy and she’s good with little kids and other dogs. Sometimes she has a hard time picking up in social cues from other dogs and can be very timid in public places, but I did not see any aggression at all even when other dogs snapped at her. This girl loves the outdoors especially the beach, is crate trained and about 95% potty trained. She had her first round of shots and is scheduled to get her final round in a few days. I will cover the costs of getting her spayed too in the event we find her a home before I can schedule one. I will be willing to also sponsor dog training lessons for anyone willing to provide her a safe, healthy and loving home. Rescuing and fostering dogs was the best thing I’ve ever done. If she wasn’t so happy at the beach and it didn’t take so long to get her medically cleared to fly, I would send her up to be a part of our pack in a heartbeat. However, I’m CONFIDENT we can find a good home for her in the islands. What’s not to love?! Please DM me if you are interested in having this girl as part of your ‘ohana ❤️. #rescuedog #adoptdontshop #pineapplepit by @kopebean
