Hey so my buddy Danny @kopij from one of my absolute favorite bands @abandcalledbore just dropped his debut solo-project @mute.talker.

New Wave Goth. Post-Punk with dark glasses and a shiny croon. Joy Division and The Cure smoking wet cigarettes. Alex Cameron on Polish Speedballs.

Danny seamlessly switched from Mathcore to Sadcore so quietly I didn’t even notice. What a rad move.

Get into it. It’s so fucking good. taken in Queens, New York by @kopij

Back by popular demand! We’ve been receiving comments, dm’s and emails every day about more @abandcalledbore vinyl and media.

You asked, and we listened. We are offering a second pressing of Bore’s “Feral” on vinyl, including our usual Wax mage and handmade options, and an open pre-order for Opaque Natural vinyl for $30.

Open Pre-order for any and all items will last until February 15th, then we are closing the pre order options and ordering that exact amount.

These go up TOMORROW, Thursday 1.15 at 1PM ET.

2025 was probably the most transitional year of my life. And maybe one of the best so far.

I stopped living alone, allowing myself to be a hermit that kept the world at bay and instead let it all in.
I asked my best friend to marry me.
Started saying goodbye to my day job of the past decade to move into the next chapter of my life.
BORE put out a record called "Feral" that we put every bit of ourselves into, everyone's been really cool about it and got to make a lot of new rad friends through it.
@abandcalledbore and @dr.aculaofficial played some killer shows.
Friends that I missed are back in my life.
Got to pet the best cats.
Got to smoke some of the finest weed.
Got to write some cool riffs.
Got to travel to some cool places.
Got to meet lots of good people I'm honored to call friends now.
Got to own some great records.
Got to see some incredible shows, listen to great music and take in some great art.

It's wild. When I was younger, everything I did was fueled by some variation/combination of rebellion, fear, anger, hate, spite, etc and I actively shunned love and connection for some airheaded "fuck you" reasons. Now love is what keeps me going. And its the best. I'm ashamed I spent so many years pushing people and opportunities away under the guise of some purist elitist bullshit. Life rules if you lead with love and can find a way to move with a full heart.

2026, I'm ready for you. Maybe I'll start taking more pictures. by @kopij
