@rinzen is going on tour and i’m part of it!

very excited to announce that i will be on direct support duties for his stop in Denver @clubvinyl , this Saturday (5/23)

Rinzen is currently on an incredible run of original releases and coveted remix opportunities. a powerhouse in the studio, but also a devoted student of the DJ craft. if you haven’t yet experienced his storytelling through music, this is a “do not miss”. he’s helped me so much in my artist progression over the years and i can’t wait to see what journey he takes us on during this show. thank you sir 🤝

i’m also soooo excited to be sharing the stage with my great friend @pinkowitzmusic who is going to be warming up the night. Pinkowitz and I connected on discord back in 2020 during lockdown as we both started our production journeys. his dedication to the craft was apparent from the start and has inspired me to keep showing up ever since. hes always stuck true to himself and his sound, and im so excited to watch bigger and bigger things unfolding for him (he’s also maybe the nicest dude you’ll ever meet). come early and lock into this deep groovy and intentional start to the night.

thank you @rinzen and team for having us. so excited for a big Saturday 🔥

‘For A Day’ with @rinzen & @extraspecial4you is out now on @thisneverhappened

It’s pretty surreal typing these words. @lane8music completely changed the trajectory of my life after seeing him play in Denver, just before the COVID lockdown.

having played piano since the age of 4 I somehow never really dove into music production in any serious capacity. this show was so inspiring and came at the perfect time since there was literally nothing else to do.. so I bought Ableton and dove in with the lofty aspiration that one day I could maybe make music that moved others in a similar way.

releasing this on @thisneverhappened is a huge personal accomplishment for me and I couldn’t be more thankful to have Mike and Amelia part of it. It would not be the same without them. Amelia’s story behind the lyrics is beautiful (go check her post) and Mike’s vision and ability to control energy has resulted in a powerful cinematic story.

bonus story, I actually met Mike after one of his Denver shows in 2022 where he ended up back at my house with a few friends for the world’s smallest after party on my tiny DDJ-400s. I guess he wasn’t used to plugging his USB into a computer to DJ because he completely left it behind (yes, I shipped it to him, and yes I used that story as a reminder when i asked to be his mentee)

this also starts a new chapter for my music career. I’m sitting on a bunch of new music that I’m very close to finishing, and I promise I won’t hide it for too much longer.

thank you @lane8music @thisneverhappened @rinzen @extraspecial4you

been dreaming of this one for a while

my new single ‘For A Day’, a collaboration with @rinzen and @extraspecial4you drops next tuesday 2/10 on @thisneverhappened. this is the next single from Rinzen’s ‘Just Noise’ two-part EP

this track’s life began in late summer ’24 as a chiller instrumental idea I pitched to @extraspecial4you in an IG message asking for vocals. after some back and forth, we were sitting on a solid demo

@rinzen and I had been working together for a little while at this point and in one of our sessions I summed up the courage to ask if maybe he wanted to collaborate on something. he said yes and this was the demo he picked to jump in on.

the results hopefully speak for themselves.

this is the start of a new chapter and i’m so honored and proud to kick things off with this. enjoy.
