Happy New Year Everyone,🎊🥳🥳

2024 was a great year for me, lost my mum and a very close friend, tried new things, met new people (amazing and awesome people), went through a lot of emotions that I have never envisaged for myself but all in all I came out stronger.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend The RoundTable, a conference designed for young minds. Hosted by @kennedy.ekezie , the event was a transformative experience that left me inspired and motivated.

The lineup of speakers was incredibly impressive, featuring individuals who had achieved remarkable success despite their young age. Their passion, drive, and wisdom were truly inspiring.

The @roundtable_community team provided excellent support throughout the process, from keeping me updated on event details to pairing me with a buddy. While my buddy unfortunately didn't respond to my email, I still had a wonderful time with @chief_temmytope and made new connections.

Things I learnt;

@mrimafidon : "If you are not at the table, then you're on the menu"
"Change is better done from the inside than from the outside"
@salemkinging : "Community is not about the stories but the people, connect with the people then you'd get the stories"
@tomike_a : "Always have a why, so that when anything else wants to influence you and steer you otherwise, your 'why' is there to anchor you and set you straight"
"There is power in collaboration, you cannot stay in one place and expect to grow"
@veekee_james : "If you are doing something and you are not happy with it, then you should not be there"
@kennedy.ekezie : "We need to firm up our identities and anchor our life to it"
"You find your aim by looking inwards to those things that spark intrinsic wonder to you"
"A Prince that has no knowledge of his identity is no better than a Slave"
@mi_abaga : "Your target audience should be yourself, and not just yourself but your inner child"
"Connecting to your inner child can bring you true purpose and keep you true to yourself"
"Your true form is one of a learner and you have to keep learning"

The Roundtable was an unforgettable experience that left me feeling inspired and empowered. I am grateful to @kennedy.ekezie and the @roundtable_community team for creating such a valuable event. The insights I gained will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on me.
