When he invited me to be a part of his graduation photoshoot, I wasn’t expecting such a sweet surprise 💍

From meeting in MED, to attending separate medical schools, spending countless hours on the phone, driving hundreds of miles, graduating a year apart, and finally ending up together in residency — I’m so thankful to God for His grace when writing our love story.

Excited for the journey ahead and grateful for every experience that made us stronger together. 🤎

On May 9th, 2025, a childhood dream became reality. I’m officially a doctor — graduating with two degrees, my MD and MPH! 🙌🏾✨💐 Nothing is impossible with God. Through His grace, hard work, and the unwavering love of my family and friends, I’ve made it to this moment. As a first-generation college graduate and the first doctor in my family, this achievement means more than words can express. I’m so proud, so grateful, and so blessed to be here — making my family, my community, and Liberia proud. 🇱🇷 Thank you to everyone who believed in me along the way — we did it! 💙🎓

everything fell right into place 🤍
I recently finished my third year of medical school and I’m so proud of myself. 🎉
I’m so thankful for being able to do third year in Charlotte, NC where I was born and raised because it felt special to be able to learn from and give back to the community that shaped me to be who I am. I had some of the best preceptors/ mentors that encouraged me. I had amazing friends and family around that pushed me to keep going. And I met some of the best patients ever that reminded me what I was doing this for.
