I'm going to confess that I hate the first designs I made, so these are the new ones I'll use until I die.

Trauma 🇫🇮

Context: Weeks after Finland's independence in 1917, he went out to hunt a white reindeer and ended up crossing the border from Lapland to Norrbotten in Sweden. It was winter, and a fierce snowstorm was approaching. He successfully hunted the animal, but the scent of the carcass attracted a pack of wolves that hadn't been able to eat for quite some time.

One of the wolves came out to attack him first, intending to eat him and the reindeer, wounding him in the lower abdomen and leg. (This would leave him with a permanent limp.) Sweden lived nearby; Finland's heart-wrenching screams prompted him to go out with a shotgun, killing the wolf, saving his life, and caring for him in his cabin.

Finland developed a very strong phobia of wolves after that day.
