happy year of the horse🐴 this year my art goals are to 1. try new things and 2. be more relaxed. I thought I’d kick it off by attempting to draw a horse (ok it’s a pegasus). and keeping those goals in mind has really helped me feel more inspired to draw!

wishing you all a happy lunar new year :) by @korrinamoe

She’s stuck at the Samara outpost. A treacherous place, and the way she’s commanded to work… feels wrong. She wants out, but who can she go to for help?

Here’s my OC set in the Empyrean universe for the Rider’s Quadrant Winter Prompt Fest 2025! If you want to read a little bit more, you can check out the ao3 link in my bio.

The prompt was: Graphic character sheet or any drawing of your OC in Empyrean universe. Character design and/or accessories shall be inspired by the first 5 out of 10 pics you see after opening your Pinterest. The OC does not necessarily need to be a Basgiath cadet, but of course may be!

No AI was used to create this drawing, and I do not condone the use of feeding my artwork to any type of AI.

“He’s every but as terrifying as any serpent. I don’t care. I run into his arms.” 🖤🗡️

Artwork inspired by Lilith by John Collier has been on my mind for ages, and I felt like Queen of Nothing fit perfect. All hail my High Queen Jude and High King Cardan! They love to occupy my thoughts.

Let’s pretend like I remembered to turn on the layer with their crowns on the slide 2 video.

Ix 💘 Member of the White Pantheon⁣
⁣
As briefly as we see Ix in the Crowns of Nyaxia series (so far), I found her so fascinating. The way Carissa wrote her in The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk has had Ix lingering on my mind! What a beautiful, twisted goddess. ⁣
⁣
I can’t wait to see more of the gods in The Lion and the Deathless Dark, and the fate that becomes of… well, everyone.⁣
⁣
This piece was loosely inspired by The Birth of Venus by Botticelli as well as the red ochre used on the Venus of Willendorf figurine. ⁣

I finally finished the Throne of Glass series a few months ago, and phewww I loooove Manon. What an incredible development. I cried, I cheered. Without spoiling, the ending was everything I needed!⁣⁣ (and yes I’m still obsessed with manorian)

“Granted, she didn’t want to become evil, but when you spend most of your life trying to see the sun, you begin to wish for rain.” -Assistant to the Villain by ⁣@hannahnicolemae
⁣
I’m just a gal waiting and wishing for Accomplice to the Villain (book 3) to come out! Since I drew the Villain, of course I had to draw Evie Sage as well. ⁣

“You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.” -Mr. Darcy to Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice⁣
⁣
My iPad’s been collecting dust, so I thought I’d pick it back up for a lil drawing as I gear up for my P&P reread! I read it for the first time a couple of years ago, and it easily became a favorite of mine. My favorite is when Elizabeth has all the free time to just walk around contemplating things… what a dream!!😂⁣

The Villain 🖤⁣
⁣
I just finished reading Assistant to the Villain by @hannahnicolemae last week, and what a fun read that was! The workplace fantasy setting was so unique, I adore Kingsley 🐸👑 and his hilarity, and I wish I could raid Tatianna’s wardrobe. I’m currently reading Apprentice to the Villain, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for Trystan and Evie!!⁣

Aaric and Sloane deserved a static spot on the feed, and I wanted an excuse to zoom in on their faces. ⁣
⁣
This was the artwork I created for @headcanonheadcase for @the.ridersquadrant Solstice Exchange 2024… and now I have all these Slam headcanons hahaha. Onyx Storm comes out in just a few weeks, and I’m NERVOUS about the fates of my fave characters (but also so excited for what’s next).⁣

Happy Winter Solstice to @headcanonheadcase!❄️ Your snowdragon comes bearing a constant loop of Aaric kissing Sloane, despite having a 🗡️ held up against him. Brave man. ⁣
⁣
My fingers are crossed that Slam become a thing in Onyx Storm, but if not, I’ll happily escape into headcanons.⁣

Also a special thank you to Suebs, Alex, Sarah, Maze, and Yams for coordinating the exchange! by @korrinamoe

I finished my reread of The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King yesterday, just in time for the release of The Songbird and the Heart of Stone!⁣
⁣
This reread was amazing to follow the emotional journey Oraya and Raihn each had. The way they noticed everything about each other. Absolute *chef kiss* of a book!⁣
