This summer felt like a falling star — so quick, yet so special ✨
I can’t say I lived it as fully as I used to, but it was preparing us for something much bigger. A season of challenges, moves in and out, endless doctor visits, tons of work, and at the same time — holding on to every moment of being just the two of us.

Grateful for the strength this summer gave, for the love, for the friends who stayed close even when we were completely unavailable… and for little Yasmin, who chose to be born under the Perseid meteor shower 🌠

They say you can’t live a perfectly balanced life — there’s always one side that takes over. I guess now is the time not to fight the wind, but to embrace where I am. To embrace being a mom.

Goodbye, summer I didn’t really feel — and thank you for everything you brought 👋🏽❤️

Nobody talks about what happens to your relationship after having a baby!!

Everyone prepares you for the birth.
For sleepless nights.
For feeding.
For diapers.

But who prepares you for becoming a couple again while both of you are exhausted, overwhelmed, and trying to figure out how to be parents?

I think this is something we need to talk about before the baby comes.

Because taking care of a baby is hard. But doing it while feeling alone, misunderstood, or unsupported by your partner can make it so much harder.

You both need to learn how to survive this new chapter together.
How to communicate when you’re exhausted.
How to support each other when one of you has nothing left to give.
How to remember that you’re still a team.

Because when you support each other, taking care of the baby becomes so much easier.

And honestly, sometimes the most important thing you can give your baby… is a relationship where both parents feel supported, loved, and not alone. taken in Lisbon, Portugal by @kosmosira

I hate when people point at us and say we’re too focused on motherhood. And yes, you often hear it from people who don’t have children.

Come on. If you’ve given birth to the most important person in your life — someone who needs you 24/7, and whom you need just as much — how could it be any other way?

It’s totally okay to dive into motherhood as deeply as you can and to share that love!! Let it be, take your time, listen just to your instincts 🙏🏼🫂 by @kosmosira

Yesterday was such an important day for me. It was not just another festival. It was a statement from me to the rest of the world and to my older self. One year ago, when I was very pregnant I could not attend all the events I wanted because I physically could not stand more than an hour. I had a crazy FOMO. I felt my life was ending and it never will be better. Now, I can say - it will! Nothing lasts forever. Anything good and anything bed.
