Every act of protection contains a hold. The swan is kept for its beauty, preserved as an image before it is allowed to be a living thing. Its whiteness is tended, its grace displayed, its stillness expected. Tulle, feather and corsetry build a softness that holds its shape by force, and elegance becomes the most gentle form of captivity Creative Direction: Francesca Costa @kostakills, Valentina Croce @urdailyvalium, Laura Mac Adden @lalla.macadden Photography: Alice Consonni @aliceconsonny Production: Nina Caffarelli @ninacaffa, Valentina Croce @urdailyvalium Styling: Francesca Costa @kostakills, Laura Mac Adden @lalla.macadden Set Designer: Camilla Scaltritti @millsnroses Makeup Artist: Viviana Ferrari @vivianaferrari_mua Hairstylist: Martina Villanacci @martinavillanaccimua Talent: Sofia Knv @sofia.knv Location: Super Studio 13 @superstudio13 Location Manager: Fallou J. Every act of protection contains a hold. The raven is guarded, watched as much as it watches, held close out of fear as much as reverence. Cage and relic share the same structure. Black feathers meet the rigid grammar of enclosure, where devotion and confinement are drawn with the same bars, and what is kept safe is also kept in. Every act of protection contains a hold. The pigeon is the bird no one asked to keep. It lives among us and is refused for it, met with spikes, nets and surfaces designed to leave no place to land. Here the architecture of rejection becomes wardrobe: the defensive line turns into silhouette, and the body wears the very apparatus built to push it away. Care, in this chapter, is measured by distance. BIRDS out now on @nastymagazine Every act of protection contains a hold. The falcon is trained to return. Its flight is real, but its direction has been taught: jesses, glove, hood, thefeather tools of a bond made through discipline. Here the apparatus of falconry enters couture as strap and structure, and freedom appears only in the shape that has been designed for it. UNBOUND explores the relationship between identity and external expectations. The hooks marked on the skin represent the social norms, labels, and limitations that continue to shape how individuals are perceived and understood. Rather than permanent constraints, these elements symbolize structures that can be questioned, challenged, and ultimately removed. UNBOUND is an invitation to move beyond imposed definitions. I never expected a project born in a few weeks of chaos to become the one I’m most proud of. To Kill A Man is an invitation to kill the man who reigns sovereign inside each of us and to deconstruct ourselves from the patriarchal structures we were raised within, layer by layer. Thank you to the most incredible team. You made something special I’ll carry with me for a long time. @lalla.macadden in full @chemicalchains armour for @kostakills project 🥀 ~ Consumption phase The final phase marks the moment of definitive separation from life. A collective ritual unfolds around a set table. Consumption no longer answers need, but habit and excess. Gestures repeat automatically, not hunger, but routine. At the centre, a luminous body remains isolated from the dark mass that surrounds it. Visible, yet no longer recognised as life. Flesh is fully detached from its status as body. The process is complete: transformation no longer creates tension, it has been absorbed. ~ art direction @kostakills photography @_oktopuz make-up @vivianaferrari_mua styling @kostakills talent @lalla.macadden brand @chemicalchains @mac.adden set design @irenemorosini nails @millsnroses by @kostakills
Hello!! <3 We are a group of artists, creatives and image professionals brought together by the desire to use the language of the fashion film as a visual act of denunciation. All Flesh Rots is born from the urgency to make visible what is too often removed: the silent passage from life to matter, from sentient body to object of consumption. Through a disturbing and deeply immersive aesthetic, the project draws a connection between the animal body and the female body, tracing their transformation through the symbolic phases of the meat supply chain - birth, separation, slaughter, exposure and consumption. Our research moves at the point where beauty and horror brush against each other, where the desirability of the image short-circuits with the violence that makes it possible. The body becomes surface, product, collective ritual, while the viewer is called to confront their own blindness, their habit of consumption and the systematic removal of the suffering that sustains what we consider normal. All Flesh Rots wants to open a fracture in the gaze, turning fashion and cinema into tools capable of speaking about exploitation, empathy and responsibility. Support All Flesh Rots if you believe art should disturb what prefers to remain in the dark. Your support makes it possible. Link in bio! 🖤 panography by me graphic by: @mirqotio by @kostakills
