Always tinkering with my process. It could always be a little better, a little faster, a little something that I'm not doing yet. I figured, sometimes I like the look of pencil more, and sometimes I prefer ink, so why not work in a way where I don't need to erase the pencil lines and let them do their end of the work. I guess what happens is we learn from seeing others do their craft, and when a majority of the pros do it in a pretty similar fashion, we come to think, "perhaps this is the right way of doing it." But there is no right or wrong method to making art, especially not comics, and I was getting strung up on that for a while. I have to keep reminding myself, it's ok to have smudges on the page, it's ok to have unerased lines. Comics can just be a series of sketches with a story. Anyways, I rambled enough. Time to go yell at clouds again.

Update, I'm 1/3 finished Wrath of the Feral 2. Books one are awaiting their passage to the west. You can count on @sandstormcomics to get it done. In the meantime, check out the webtoons! by @koteriink

A sparring scene featuring brothers who don't know what sparring means. Finally getting to share my love for grappling with my love for fantasy and manga in one package. @sandstormcomics are working hard on making sure Wrath of the Feral 1 is accessible to an international audience, so stay tuned. It's best to get revisions done early before one begins. However, the most difficult aspect of being a creator is not knowing if you have enough time or strength to take on every project you have lined up. by @koteriink

The first 3 pages of Wrath of the Feral 2. Yes, I know, book one isn't even out in North America or Europe yet, (but it is available in West Asia). Think of it this way, you'll get book 1 and 2 around the same time. That's a 600 page experience unlike anything else you'll ever see in a graphic novel.

I don't have much to offer my people other than my art. But art serves a purpose. It's the soul of a culture, an igniter of hope. My heart aches for the tens of thousands who lost their lives fighting for that hope last month. My only message for Iranians online is this: stop fighting with those around us who tell us that we don't know what we should want. They have only learned 1/1000th of the story and believe they've written the novels of our lives themselves. To change one's own mind is difficult enough; to change the minds of thousands of others is a task for a greater power. We can only win the hearts of those who stand against us by being Iranian: be kind, honorable, respectful, and tolerant. In a world overflowing with hate and resentment, those qualities are the light. #freeiran by @koteriink

Announcement: Terminator 2 The Board Game announced!

STUDIOCANAL and Cation Arts are thrilled to announce the development of Terminator 2: The Board Game, an officially licensed tabletop experience based on James Cameron’s iconic 1991 film, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The game is scheduled to launch via crowdfunding in 2026, bringing one of the most celebrated action films of all time to the world of modern board gaming.

Designed for both hobby gamers and fans of the Terminator franchise, Terminator 2: The Board Game will immerse players in the fight for humanity’s future. Players will relive the tension of being hunted by the T-1000 as they attempt to save the world. Each player will play as one of the Heroes of the movie (John, Sara or the T-800) as they follow their own journeys, fighting their way to survival and victory.

The game comes to life through beautiful artwork and tight gameplay mechanics that allow for tactical decision making and risk taking.

I only ever saw photos of the days where Iran was free. My father kept the lion and sun flag in our home in Toronto as a reminder to never forget what was once ours and to never lose sight of what will one day be ours again. I live halfway across the world, but I will still show my support through art.

Warmed up with some sketches before diving straight into the next book for @sandstormcomics It's nice completing several books before any of them make their international release.
