tl;dr but here we go… The last 15 years has been a journey. From a couch nomad living and working in different cities to a girl dad of 3 with a wife that keeps me motivated both with building a family and building my art. She lets me build our dream kitchen and also lets me have time and space to create everything I can dream of. My parents and in laws who help us tremendously with family so we can pave the path for the next generation. All of this culminates into this LP, Bushido, to represent how I approach all aspects of life: Honor, Respect, Benevolence, Integrity, Duty, Heroism. Protect anyone who needs it and expose the bullies. My first LP in 15 years, Bushido is a collection of songs I’ve made in this long journey. A few of these circulated in London on BBC Radio 1 & Asian Network.I have been blessed to work with many amazing artists who I feel work in this headspace and also represent true hip-hop culture (not the genre, that’s just rap). Blessed to have the chance to know these amazing individuals some who are also on this album (and some on the next 😉) such has @itspanamababy @ivanthegrrreat @javierstarks @sureet @smokey_theghost @mingsta @kalysay @thomasblondet @texthegreat @northsideindian @swamibaracus @rajawilconow @sir.aah @gurpreetsarin @nim.bot @iamnitamusic the ever humble @rayremesch. A special highlight on @senicadamisfit RIP and gone too soon. A talented musician and actor and just pure determination. Last but not least my current music partner in crime @brooklynshanti. Glad to have teamed up with the utmost talent in every Bengali way possible. The first south Asian to enter the realm of hip-hop culture from the Rawkus days. We’ve been cooking and we got some very exciting new music coming soon. RIP Malik the Phife Diggy. #bushido #hiphopculture #hiphop Bushido LP on all streaming platforms and here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/kothetimeless/bushido taken in Washington D. A glimpse into the weight behind the words.

Rewinding back to when @kothetimeless delivered a powerful visual for The Cost: a raw reflection on sacrifice, growth, and the price paid on the journey toward purpose.

As a member of @basmatibrothers, this release sets the tone for what’s to come on the upcoming album. Personal narratives, global soundscapes, and sharp lyricism converge.

Every move has a cost.
Every vision demands something in return.

Stay locked for the full album rollout.

I don't even understand how to talk about @basmatibrothers in that it's an experiment in hip hop that I'm so proud of. Live and direct from Kolkata India. @kothetimeless approached me a decade ago to start the project and a decade it has taken to devise what this has become. I'll say less. India: I'm coming back for mine. This ain't even the start.

@carolinaiwanow & BPM Jewelry on the style tip as always and forever!
