ConGRADulations are in order! 🎓

Yesterday, on May 17, 2025, I became an official Alumna of THEE Illustrious Virginia State University.

Life didn’t stop when I stepped back, trusted, and followed God’s plan for my life. Thank you to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, for sacrificing his life for mine and being the greatest leader. Thank you to my family who loves and supports me UNCONDITIONALLY without a doubt. Thank you to my friends, oh how I love y’all. The ones I just met and the ones that turned family, I appreciate each and every one of you, deeply. A special thank you to my man, my best friend, and everything in between whose been a helping hand in my life since the day we first met and continues to do so with no questions asked! I love everyone and I wish everyone the best!

Happy Early 4-Year Anniversary!
Since high school, we had instant chemistry! As the years went on, our bond became stronger. We went through our trials and tribulations, the best and worst times, but all in all, I wouldn’t trade you for any other major in the world. You took me on dates outside of Virginia that didn’t cost me anything but my time and attention. You introduced me to some of the smartest and loving people that I would say is my home away from home. I poured my heart to you and you did just that in return. We had a healthy love that you couldn’t even replicate in the lab if you wanted to. Thank you Virginia State University for helping me find my true love! ❤️

To the chemistry department,
I will vouch for you 1000x time over again. We are THEE BEST department. It’s not always easy, but it’s rewarding. Once you get it, you can’t forget it! We might be awkward and nerdy but we have some of the biggest hearts. Thank you for allowing me to be a mentor to the incoming classes. The voice to those who didn’t feel heard. The girl with the connections to make sure EVERYONE constantly was making some sort of money and boosting their resume. I hope that the chemistry department because even better when I leave but it’s safe to say that they will be left in great hands!
