The weight of a country on your shoulders. The pride of representing it in your heart.

For Tanner Ward, wearing the maple leaf means more than just racing. It’s about carrying the pride of Canadian motocross and the responsibility of giving everything you have on the world’s biggest stage.

One rider. One country. Everything on the line.

🇨🇦Happy Thanksgiving 🇨🇦 I have so much to be thankful for, each and every day. I am not sure that anyone is as lucky as I am. I am surrounded with so much love. Thank you to everyone that is in my life and who makes it so special. This year has been filled with adventures and new experiences and I really don’t take it for granted! I do wish I was with my family today but maybe Big Joyce will send me a pumpkin pie… hint hint 🤎🦃🍂🍂 by @kourtneylloyd

🇨🇦 𝟏𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚!

Kourtney Lloyd has been the Canadian MXoN team manager since 2016, and 2026 marks a full decade in the role. 🇨🇦

From selecting the riders and organising bikes, mechanics and logistics, to making sure everything is ready when the gate drops, there is a huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes.

We caught up with Lloyd ahead of the 2026 MXoN at Ernée to discuss Team Canada, Dylan Wright, Dylan Rempel and Tanner Ward, the challenges of taking a team from Canada to Europe, developing Canadian talent and what success would look like in France.

But could this be her final year in the role? 👀

She reveals all in our latest interview.

Before I leave, I just want to take a minute to say thank you to everyone who helped me this summer.

I’m so lucky to have the support of the motocross community in Canada and, especially, the people behind the scenes who listen to my ideas, answer my calls, support what I’m trying to build, help fund it, lend a hand when I need it, and sometimes just let me vent when things get a little crazy.

There are so many people who quietly do things to help me and Team Canada keep moving forward, and I don’t take any of it for granted.

This sport has given me some pretty incredible people, friendships and memories, and summers like this remind me how fortunate I am to be part of it.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting Team Canada, and always being willing to jump in when I need you!

Hey Pam, I actually found your IG name 😂 @babsoferal

Heading back to France in just over a week to manage Team Canada once again for Motocross of Nations. 2016 was my first year and I am so honoured that I still get to do this for 2026. I can’t wait to get there, get setup and for the 2026 Team to represent our beautiful Country and motorcycling in Canada. We have an incredible bunch of people on the circuit and I am lucky to have the support from all of you! Stay tuned to @teamcanadamxon for the 2026 Team Photos, live updates, and Motocross of Nations goings on! To watch the event subscribe to @mxgp

The Team Canada MXON Auction goes LIVE tomorrow, September 8 AT 12pm EST

We’ve opened up the archives and pulled together a collection you won’t see every day.

Race-worn jerseys, complete gear sets, bike plastics and memorabilia from past and present racers will all be up for grabs — including pieces from Dylan Wright, Tanner Ward, Cooper Webb, Phil Nicoletti, Kaven Benoit and many more.

Some of these items have been part of Team Canada, SX, MX and MXON history, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The auction opens tomorrow, Sept 8th at 12pm EST. All proceeds go directly toward supporting the Team Canada MXON program.

Keep an eye on our socials for the auction link!
