💰 THE FOLLOW-UP FORMULA — WHERE SALES ARE REALLY WON

Most sales aren’t lost because the prospect said “no.”

They’re lost because the salesperson disappeared after hearing:

“Let me think about it.”

The goal of follow-up isn’t to pressure people. It’s to create clarity, add value, stay relevant, and professionally guide the conversation toward a decision.

Here’s the framework 👇🏾

1️⃣ Stop chasing.
Don’t keep asking, “Are you ready to buy?” Give them a legitimate reason to continue the conversation.

2️⃣ Add value every time.
Bring an idea, solution, insight, update, resource, or clear next step. Value builds trust.

3️⃣ Ask better questions.
Instead of “Any updates?” ask:
“What’s the biggest thing preventing us from moving forward?”

Now you’re uncovering the real objection instead of guessing.

4️⃣ Create clarity.
Make the process, value, timeline, expectations, and next steps easy to understand. Confusion delays decisions.

5️⃣ Stay consistent.
One follow-up can be ignored. Professional consistency keeps you relevant when circumstances or timing change.

And remember:

1. PIPELINE
Never depend on one opportunity. Keep qualified prospects entering your pipeline every week.

2. FOLLOW-UP
Create a follow-up schedule. Don’t disappear after one call, email, or message. Stay professionally persistent until you get clarity.

3. PROBLEM → VALUE
Before pitching, identify the problem. Ask:
What is this problem costing them in money, time, efficiency, or opportunity?

4. VALUE FIRST
Teach. Advise. Solve. Help prospects understand something they didn’t understand before talking to you. Trust makes closing easier.

5. DAILY EXECUTION
Every workday, complete revenue-producing activities:
→ Prospect
→ Follow up
→ Send proposals
→ Advance existing opportunities
→ Ask for the business

Discipline is what keeps you executing when the excitement disappears.

Here’s the KOV 5×5 Discipline System™ — FREE:

1. 5 Revenue Actions
Every day, complete 5 actions directly connected to generating revenue: prospecting, follow-ups, proposals, closing conversations, or creating an offer.

2. 5 Follow-Ups
Money is often sitting inside conversations you already started. Follow up with at least 5 prospects every day.

3. 5 Minutes of Strategy
Before reacting to texts, notifications and distractions, ask: What are the 3 highest-value moves I can make today?

4. 5 Distractions Eliminated
Identify what repeatedly steals your time. Reduce it, schedule it, delegate it, or eliminate it.

Before bed, answer:
Did I execute?

4️⃣ GIVE YOUR GOALS TIME ON YOUR CALENDAR.
