🌿 How it’s made 🌿

Every piece I make is made with lots of love and passion. I want to make the most pretty unique things. With new designs, techniques, color combinations. Just simple bliss. I love to make people happy with my products and I hope to be able to be doing so for a long time.

🌿Why Koyo Unleashed and not Koyo & Yuki Unleashed?🌿

“But Julia, … You have two dogs, right?”

I get this question quite often, so I thought I’d finally explain the story behind the name.

The reason I chose Koyo Unleashed is actually very simple: I wanted a business name that felt truly unique — something no one else has or ever will have.

Long before I even had Koyo, I had already fallen in love with her name. Koyo is a Japanese word that describes the changing colours of autumn leaves 🍁, and because I always dreamed of having a red agouti Husky female, the name felt absolutely perfect when Koyo came into my life.
When I decided to start my own small business, I knew I wanted a name that would stand out, but also reflect Koyo’s personality. And if you know Koyo, you know she’s basically a little ball of energy 😅 She’s always running around, making chaotic zoomies, and bringing endless excitement everywhere she goes.

That’s where the word Unleashed came from.
Her energy is always unleashed… and, fittingly, I also make leashes and literally unleash dogs too 🐕✨

So while Yuki is absolutely a huge part of my life and this journey, Koyo Unleashed just felt like the perfect fit from the very beginning 🤍

I had this gorgeous collar custom-made for Bowie by @koyounleashed and as a little birthday surprise, Nelson got a matching one! 🧡 I’m absolutely in love with how they turned out. The beautiful autumn colours are just perfect for the season! My boys have never looked more autumn-ready! 🍁

✨ The most intricate collar yet✨

Biothane meets imitation leather and rhinestones stones. I spent more than 6 hours on this collar as all stones are set individually into their fittings and then placed on the collar one by one !

It’s available to purchase for neck circumferences 44-50cm for 170€.

Happy won’t look Thursday 🤣🤭 almost weekend again! And we definitely need it. Koyo seems to have a broken tooth 😕 at least a small part has been broken … so we need to get it fixed soon! Poor girl. Hopefully it doesn’t hurt yet.
