I had the BEST morning at Cassidy Elementary! I was honored to be invited to their “Arty Party” to talk about comics. As always, my sister @kpangburn21 and I had so much fun writing this one, so it’s been a joy to see @nicolastouris absolutely crush the art. Meanwhile, @anto22denise brought her gorgeous color assists, and @3eggy5me / @the_coelacanth_kid / @duluoz_cats brought their red pens. Such a dream team.

Announced today at the Lucasfilm panel at SDCC! @chasexclamationpoint and I are so very excited to bring A New Hope to a new generation of Star Wars fans— just in time for the 50th anniversary! A new perspective from a galaxy far, far away. Just revealed at the Lucasfilm Publishing panel at SDCC: @kpangburn21 and I wrote a Star Wars book for @papercutzgn!

Star Wars: A New Hope – Triple Take is a middle-grade graphic novel that retells the events of Episode IV through multiple perspectives and artists.

Today's a book birthday! Nickelodeon's The Casagrandes: D-I-Why?! is here! I'm so very grateful for the opportunity to work with @nickelodeon and The Loud House Team! Shouting BIG thanks to my amazing editor @mightybrunstad , letterer extraordinaire @ramoskaiju , and the unbelievably talented artist and colorist, Olivia Walden, for bringing our story, "Back(pack) to School" to life. Writing for this universe has been one of the most special experiences of my life, and I know young readers will LOVE these adventures. @papercutzgn @bathlitagency by @kpangburn21

Alaska and Vancouver, BC! We stopped trying to take pictures because they never came close to capturing the real views. We walked, biked, or hiked 8-12 miles a day on most days, and we never ran out of delicious local foods and beers to try. We saw whales, porpoises, eagles, seals, and more! And we had some other surprises that made our trip extra special— like seeing old Southbank Shuttles giving tours in Ketchikan and running into one of my favorite former students, @jtr8151 , and his beautiful family! It was the most amazing anniversary trip! taken in Alaska, USA by @kpangburn21

We are so very proud of @stellakshearer ! She started her first job today as a Marketing & Resident Experience Specialist for American Campus Communities (the largest developer/owner/manager of student housing communities in the country)! We are so happy for her, as this marketing position is everything she loves— social media managing, event planning, working with young people, and more! We can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in her new role. by @kpangburn21
