Zeke’s recently gotten into watching Chopped. So we decided to do a Chopped-style Saturday.

Mila and I had the appetizer round. Zeke and @bribri627 did the entree. The kids rolled dice for their ingredients 😀

App ingredient: cheese, bread, onion, carrots

Entree ingredients: pork, onion, Brussels sprouts, pasta

Mila and I made a carrots two-ways caramelized onion puff pastry bites with a goat cheese sprinkle, balsamic reduction, topped with carrot spirals. ….we know puff pastry is a gamble in the Chopped kitchen but sometimes you gotta go big.

Zeke and Brianne did pork orzo pasta with caramelized onion and crispy shaved Brussel sprouts dusted with grated parmigiana.

The kids really loved it. The food was delicious. Zero teams chopped this round 🥰 by @kpatra
