It’s been over a week since we launched The Pivot Sports Show, but before Episode 1, I went back to the crib to see if @rob_kazi & @koreywitha__k had any advice on sharing all of the exciting news.

If you were in the Dome for this one, you already know. 🐾🔥

Karr came to the Dome, handled business and kept the streak alive.

30 straight wins. 🏆

The Cougars have a history in this building, and if you know Karr, you know they’re no strangers to playing on this stage. State championship runs, big moments, big wins. So maybe there was only one thing left to do:

Protect the Dome. 😏💜

The season is just getting started, and Karr is already reminding everybody what the standard looks like.

From Ohio to the N.O.

Shammah Scott is a 6’2” guard from Cleveland, Ohio, who developed into a standout college basketball player at the University of Akron.
He won back-to-back MAC Sixth Man of the Year awards (2025 and 2026). He became the first player in Akron program history to win the MAC Sixth Man award twice. One of the most clutch shots I’ve seen is when He hit a game winner from 3 to send Akron to the NCAA Tournament. In the NCAA tourney he scored 20 pts against Texas Tech and finished his college career with 1000 + pts. Averaged 12.9 as a senior and shot 42.6 % from the 3 pt line and led the team with 84 threes while averaging 2.9 apg.

Just finished summer league with Cleveland Cavaliers & the journey continues.

Getting ready for the U

Chris Birden Jr. is back home in the lab working on his game , getting for his freshman season at the University of Miami.

We train with intensity but also with direction and intention. Detailed but you earn it every session. Outside on the track , levee , and stadium.
Inside is game speed on every rep because our focus is in game productivity

Chris is only 18 years with an elite work ethic
6’10 fwd with a 6’10 wing span
42 inch vertical. Can stretch the floor at a high level. Consistently knocking down the 3 ball. Elite athleticism finishing above the rim and keeping possessions alive on the offensive end.
We’ve been working for 5 years and he’s a true student of the game.
Bright future ahead for Chris in the ACC

Cam just wrapped up his first season as a pro. Played in the G League for Sioux Falls Skyforce.
