Fun fact ✅ there’s no real reason Toyota got rid of the pop out windows, but it’s most likely due to complexity reduction and creating a sealed cabin for a more luxurious experience (lame).

It’s always the same argument with these “big tires, small radius” people.

The entire camp setup in one picture minus the chairs around the 🔥
No expensive gear. Just a tote with food prep gear, a small collapsible table and a place to sleep. Why do people overdo it?

When the sunroof seal starts to deteriorate, leaks can form in the seams at the front and back.
This is a quick and easy fix in place of replacing the entire seal.
Water pools up in the plastic drip tray, so it will take a few days for the residual water to dissipate once you have applied the RTV.

This fixed 100% of my leaks.

Someone said my music sucks, so try this on for size. Sry Tacoma / Tundra peeps. This sacrifice had to be made.

A little bit of a pivot here in the order of videos. I noticed a lot of the comments and DM’s have been from people that have broken or seized sunroofs - which makes a drain cleaning video almost pointless.
In this video I explain how to remove the sunroof even if it doesn’t pop open or slide at all.
If you decide to remove the glass trim, you can just remove the (4) bolts holding the glass in place and IIRC you don’t have to mark alignment like with the screws.
⚠️ Do not try to open/close the sunroof without the glass. It will confuse the sunroof module ⚠️
✅ This is a great time to de-clap your 100, remove any silicon or tape and take steps to get your sunroof working again.
Take the glass off
Clean the sunroof gasket
Clear the drain holes
Clean the sunroof rails
Apply white lithium grease
Try and work back and forth the cables
