I worked on some illustrations for @f.c._roast , and wanted to share each of them in their fullness. Working alongside FC Roast I was given lots of trust and freedom to draw inspiration from some of my personal illustrations, creating a little hazy orange world of nostalgia for some north east spots. Some of these places are real, some of them aren’t, some of the views are tweaked a bit, (before you tell me the leisure centre was further up the road or something, I knaaaar!) Think of these illustrations as memories I suppose.

Three of five. IYKYK! Check out @f.c._roast for their coffee offerings ☕️☕️☕️ #illustration #northeast #sunderland #nostalgia #coffeeillustrations by @kr.illustrates

The second, the old twenty nine, not part of my memories, but have had many a convo with my dad trying to remember which part of the street it was on. That’s him in the window. The leisure centre too, can still smell it. Check out @f.c._roast for their coffee offerings ☕️☕️☕️ #illustration #northeast #sunderland #nostalgia #coffeeillustrations by @kr.illustrates

The first of 5 was inspired by a Southwick backlane, glass on the bricks, the kettle is on ready to make you a limescale tea (channeling dead wet things). Hope you like this lil series of illustrations. Check out @f.c._roast for their coffee offerings ☕️☕️☕️ #illustration #northeast #sunderland #nostalgia #coffeeillustrations by @kr.illustrates

You can now find a selection of my prints in the new @culturehousesunderland gift shop. You can pick up mini A6 print packs, A4’s and A3’s. The selection I’ve chosen is some of my North East inspired works that go back to 2018. I’ve never had these all in one place before. This will be the only place you can get these! Thanks to Isabella, Brooke and the crew for creating such a nice space and for inviting me to be a stockist. Surrounded by beautiful stuff, go check it out ☺️🛍️ taken in Culture House Sunderland by @kr.illustrates

“This is just the beginning” - pure class by city artist and Black Cat fan @kr.illustrates.

SunLun’s newest mural is now complete ahead of SAFC’s first foray into European competition in over half a century.

Commissioned by TNT Sports, the 11 metre high mural celebrates Sunderland AFC’s rise from League One to the Europa league, depicting scenes such as Enzo Le Fee kissing the ball before delivering the corner for Dan Ballard to score a memorable winner against Coventry City in the play off semi final.

Paint a mural with meeee. Thought I would show you the process from sketching to finished piece. I start with a rough sketch and freehand the outline with pencil, then finish with paint pens and matte varnish. Most of it is improvised as I go, makes every one unique. This mural was for a lovely school in Newcastle and they wanted plenty of local recs, classic black and white outline and lots of detail. Drop me a line if you want to talk murals. I have availability for commissions ✏️✍️ #artist #mural #handpaintedmural #illustration #mural taken in Newcastle upon Tyne by @kr.illustrates
