2x state champ‼️
I just want to thank everyone who has been there for me during my wrestling journey. I want to thank my family, friends, teammates, coaches, and the Lord himself. After state last year, life had its ups and downs. Struggling with mental health had a big impact on my life, and I never thought I would make it out of that dark place. This season has changed me as a person and made me realize how special life is. Getting life on the right path and following the Lord with my team will be the best decision I’ve ever made. Beyond grateful for the team I get to call my family and beyond grateful for my Coach. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be the wrestler and person I am today. He’s such an inspiration to me and will always have a special place in my heart. I want to thank all my teammates for being there during my journey and thank my practice partner for always putting in the hard work and helping me grow as a wrestler. I will cherish all the memories I had this year, and will forever be grateful for this opportunity I got to witness once again. Thank you year 3, I’ll see you next year for year 4!❤️ by @kr_miles

Wow… I can’t believe the time has come. For 4.5 years, wrestling has been such a huge part of my life. After begging my mom to let me wrestle and finally getting the chance in 8th grade, I instantly fell in love the moment I stepped on the mat. I never expected the sport to shape not only my career, but the person I am today.

Through battles with depression and anxiety, wrestling became my outlet and my strength. This year wasn’t easy , there were moments I wanted to walk away ,but I’m proud I pushed through and finished. This sport taught me discipline, toughness, and how to keep fighting when life gets hard. Win or lose, stepping on that mat always brought me joy.

I’m incredibly thankful for the people who stood beside me throughout this journey. My coaches pushed me to be better every single day and believed in me even when I doubted myself. My teammates became more than just teammates, they became a family that shared every challenge, every win, and every tough moment along the way. And my family, they have been my biggest supporters through it all. Always encouraging me, sacrificing for me, and reminding me why I started. None of these years would have meant the same without their support, and I’m forever grateful for everything they’ve given me.

Walking away from my wrestling team is emotional, but I do it with a full heart and a deep sense of pride. I gave everything I had to this program. My time, my effort, my setbacks, and my growth. I know I left it better than I found it. The lessons I learned, the example I tried to set, and the work I put in every day are part of the legacy I leave behind. I’m proud of the impact I made, proud of the teammate and leader I became, and grateful to have been part of something bigger than myself. For the 4 years i had, im proud to say that i am honored to have 2 state titles and 4 state placements under my belt, and even more proud that i achieved my goal as a fshs tiger. Even though my time on the mat is ending, what I built and shared here will always stay with me. Thank you for the best 4.5 years of my life and giving me a story that will carry on in my future life. Fshs #110 out.🥹❤️
