This is what 42 looks like 🎂🎉🎁🥳 My 20s were for blind ambition; my 30s were for becoming what everyone expected me to become…40 was for shedding that which did not serve me…41 was for grieving what I had shed…and 42 is the year I step into my authentic self. Turns out Chardonnay had a tiki phase.

Kicking off the new era with a wine cocktail that shouldn’t work…but does.

Meet The Macaroon Mirage: This wine cocktail drinks like a tropical Old Fashioned but hits like a glass of wine. It’s the kind of drink you can sip on the deck, make a second one, and still feel like a responsible adult.

Build:
3 oz Chardonnay (@onehope Vintner Chard)
0.5 oz coconut syrup
1 oz cold water
1 dash Turkish tobacco bitters

Stir gently. Serve over one large clear cube

Garnish: Dehydrated lemon wedge, expressed lemon peel or a green apple slice could work as well

These pieces have gotten considerably more special to those who are close friends/family of the shop - the kiddo has taken an interest in woodworking with Dad + enjoys making some scratch in his apprenticeship to spend on Lego 🤑 (swipe to see the progress shots in his fresh KBE Apprentice uniform)
