Open Call for the 2027 Residency at KraftWerket:

Do you have a burning desire to organise and curate your own cultural events, but find it difficult to take the first steps?
As a Resident of KraftWerket, you will get to organise and carry out a number of cultural events throughout 2027. The kind of events you would like to organise is up to you, KraftWerket is here to facilitate and support you and/or your group in realising your ambitions. During the residency you will have full access to all of KraftWerket, which includes an industrial kitchen, music venue, cinema, gallery and a common room.
In order to qualify for a residency you must be between the age of 15-30, and be based in Copenhagen. One of the key focus points of the residency is development, so it is important that your idea is either untested, forward thinking or in some capacity needs to be worked out. Our goal is to give you the foundation that you need, in order to take your project to the next level.
As a resident, you will have 24 hour access to the house, 1:1 guidance, administrative + technical support, a base for your community to flourish and access to a larger network of fellow residents.
KraftWerket (The Power Plant) is a municipal ‘communal hub’ based in Valby. Here our goal is to fascilliate and empower young people in their entry into the world of the creative industries. By the end of the year long residency, every group and participant should have progressed their skills and competencies.
Our space is communal, and all events should be open and accessible for the public to attend. All events are non-profit and run by you and your crew.
Link to the application form can be found in the bio. Expect to hear back from us within two weeks of applying.
We look forward to hearing from you

Much love,

At KraftWerket we want to create a safe space for any one attending and/or creating our events. Based on this, these are our principles to live by when taking part in KraftWerkets activities:

⚡️We do not accept any form of discrimination, harassment, physical or verbal violence, or exclusion. This includes transphobia, bullying, sexual misconduct, body-shaming, queerphobia, sexism, racism, ableism, intimidation, and more.

⚡️If you feel uncomfortable, please grab hold of someone from the organizing crew or a volunteer.
The feeling of safety and well-being is a top priority at KraftWerket, no issue too small!

STEP ON STAGE PRESENTS

@rld.tv - Red Light Disctrict

Red Light District is a shoegazy blend of noise-pop and indie-rock buried in an overdose of FX and dreamy textures.

The writing draws inspiration from your favorite indie megastars like Beach House and MGMT, pushed out through cheeky mannerisms and a sound best described as plastic
computer rock. This results in a lot of sound, making for a driven and magical live experience.

It’s more rock than it’s roll, but more pop than it’s noise. Get it?

The lyrics could be about everyday contemplations and alienation, or they could be about the big love. RLD wants you to think about what matters if the world ended tomorrow.

ALTER is back this Saturday to blend art, fashion and music.

We present the 2nd edition of “Human Remains & Other Fabrics” by Luciana Percara — An immersive proposal bringing together her archive pieces alongside new designs from LUNARA.

We also welcome Bel, an artist from Buenos Aires, with her first exhibition of “Entre dos ciudades” (Between Two Cities), a collage show exploring how two worlds can coexist within the migrant experience.

Music will be in the hands of Branco Walker, Cappe and Santi Sa, three DJs taking us through different sides of house & groove.

🕗 Fashion & Art: 6pm to 10pm — FREE ENTRY
