Next couple of weeks should be fun. Message @venue_on_main_belleville for a reservation to the in-the-round with @leftydaytona and @nickgusman.music .

And do it quick, 'cause the last one effectively sold out. $20 suggested donation (but if you're feeling the pinch, you don't gotta pay nothing. we really mean "suggested"). by @kranejohn

Hey friends, I’ve got a special night coming up at @thestellarhog on Friday, October 23rd from 6–9pm ✨

I’ll be joined by two incredible songwriter friends, John Krane @kranejohn and Seth Third Son of Albert @s3soa_music, sharing original songs and old favorites 🎶 We’ll be mixing it up with solo, duo, and trio sets… No rehearsals, just good company and a little improv while you enjoy the best BBQ in St. Louis and beyond ✨ taken in St. Louis, Missouri by @kranejohn

You can tell when writing is AI because it has the *shape* of a joke, but the joke just isn't there.

If you scan it quickly, it doesn't track as wrong. If you think about it for more than a second, you realize it's total nonsense.

"Now that's one employee who really knows how to make an entrance." Huh?

Anyway, it's awesome to me that Kohl's used AI to comment on my song that ends with Kohl's replacing its employees with AI. I felt like the last verse was too on-the-nose, but I guess everything in our world is a little bit ham-fisted right now. by @kranejohn

Two Illinois shows this weekend -- Friday at Papa Vito's Pizza (acoustic, and it's a place where you sit down and eat, so I won't say cusswords) and Farmhouse Fest at @mississippiculture with my full band.

I will probably be at Farmhouse Fest all day, and you should, too. Especially if you dig beer.

I hope to see you out there. by @kranejohn

This Sunday, I'm opening for @denisonwitmer and @listentojoel at the Roxana Theater in support of our friend @owenpyemedia .

Owen's been fighting cancer and doing it in a way that makes me admire him even more, which I didn't think was possible. He's been selfless, strong, and funny.

We want to help his family focus on healing rather than anything else. Money helps with that.

This show will benefit his family. There's a suggested donation of $20. If you can't afford that, just show up and give what you can.

This will be a really pleasant night of music and poetry and I hope to see you there this Sunday. by @kranejohn
